On Thursday, 13 August 2026, the Colegio de Montalban ROTC Unit conducted its ROTC Orientation as part of the Salubong 2026: Student Orientation Program at the Colegio de Montalban Function Hall. The orientation aimed to provide students with essential information about the ROTC program, its importance and benefits, as well as the various policies, responsibilities, and student services available to them.
The activity commenced with ๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฅ. ๐ฃ๐ (๐ฅ๐๐ง), ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, who delivered a meaningful discussion about ROTC and its importance. He highlighted the role of ROTC in developing discipline, leadership, patriotism, responsibility, and a strong sense of service among students.

He provided students with guidance regarding their responsibilities, proper conduct, and the policies they are expected to observe as members of the Colegio de Montalban community.

He also provided information regarding the institution's mission, vision, and mandate.

The ROTC portion of the orientation continued with ๐/๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฃ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ช๐๐ก๐ (๐ฅ๐๐ง), ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ, Coordinator, who provided further information about ROTC, its purpose, opportunities, and benefits. He emphasized how ROTC contributes to the development of discipline, leadership, teamwork, character, and a commitment to service. He also encouraged students to recognize the opportunities and personal growth that the program can provide.
Through the active participation of the students, college officials, and ROTC personnel, the orientation successfully provided valuable information about ROTC, institutional policies, student responsibilities, and available student services. The activity served as an important foundation in preparing students to become disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented individuals committed to personal development and nation-building.
