𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨, 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘾𝘼𝙎𝙀), successfully spearheaded the Visiting Fellowship and Seminar on Inclusive Education at the Dr. Adolfo B. Bellosillo Auditorium.

The event was participated by all faculty of CPC and the 3rd and 4th Year Education students of CASE.

The program officially opened with welcoming remarks from the 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧, 𝙍𝙚𝙫. 𝙁𝙧. 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙚𝙡 𝘽. 𝙑𝙖𝙨𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙯, followed by a message from 𝘿𝙧. 𝙀𝙡𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙖 𝘼. 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙨, 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨.

𝘿𝙧. 𝙄𝙫𝙮 𝙂. 𝙂𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙩𝙖, 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝘼𝙎𝙀, introduced the guest speaker, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞, 𝙂𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙤𝙣. During the seminar proper, Dr. Cilleti shared insights on inclusive education, focusing on creating supportive learning spaces and promoting equal opportunities for all learners.

The event continued with an open forum, allowing faculty and students to clarify concepts and ask questions. The event concluded with closing remarks delivered by 𝙍𝙚𝙫. 𝙁𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝙀𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙖, 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧.

𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | CPC marks 79th Founder's Day, welcomes Freshmen in Acquaintance Celebration

Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC) celebrated its 79th Founder's Day: CPC Big Day 2026 Acquaintance Party, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for a day of faith, tradition, and campus fellowship, at the San Lorenzo Event Center (SLEC), CPC Boulevard Campus, August 7.

The celebration opened with a solemn Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Freddie Billanes, followed by the Offering of Flowers to CPC Founder Msgr. Vicente Gonzalez. The religious observance highlighted the institution’s values and reminded the community of its enduring legacy.

After the liturgical celebration, the program shifted into a festive atmosphere as different college departments presented dance performances that added color and energy to the occasion. The event also served as a venue to officially welcome freshmen and strengthen bonds among members of the CPC community.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance competition, which showcased the confidence, elegance, faith, and service of freshmen candidates from the various college departments.

College of Arts, Sciences, and Education’s (CASE) Elg Mark Gimoto was named Mr. Acquaintance 2026, while Stacey Lerraine E. Andrade of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) clinched the back-to-back title for her department as Ms. Acquaintance 2026.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗚𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼! 👸🏻🤴🏻

In the afternoon following the CPC Big Day 2026, the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance 2026 began with a blast. There were six pairs of candidates, coming from the various departments.

CASEmanwa representatives, Marvie June Angustia and Elgie Mark Gimoto, graced the stage during the lively and vibrant Production Number. In the Talent Section, the two performed a duet, impressing the crowd with their melodious and emotional voices.

In the Career Outfit Section, they wore their respective OJT uniforms and walked the stage with poise and elegance. Still wearing their OJT uniform, they answered thought-provoking questions during the Q&A Section.

After the final walk of the Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance 2025, the results had arrived. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔!

Our CASEmanwa candidates accepted this challenge, performed their best, and were awarded for their hard work, beauty, and grit. The department is truly proud of them.

Of course, this could not be done without the support of our CASE community. Their constant applause and cheers were thunderous, showing unity in supporting our candidates. 💛

𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: 𝗖𝗣𝗖 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ✨

The CPC Big Day 2026 was held in San Lorenzo Event Center (SLEC), CPC Blvd. Campus on August 7. Not only did it mark the Grand Opening of classes, but it also celebrated the Founder's Day.

The program began with a parade from the CPC Blvd. Campus gate towards SLEC. Both CASE freshmen and older students wore yellow shirts and carried yellow balloons, standing out among the sea of colors. After arriving at SLEC, the Eucharistic Mass was celebrated, with various CPC priests presiding.

After the Mass, flowers were offered at the statue of Msgr. Vicente M. Gonzales, our CPC founder. The first vintage car of CPC was also personally blessed by our CPC Rector, Very Rev. B. Freddie Billanes.

After an official opening ceremony and words of welcome from our CPC Rector, SLEC was filled with colors through the Confetti War.

In the Dance Presentation participated in by all departments, the CASEmanwa dancers faced the crowd, wearing traditional clothes and carrying flowers. After seeing the hours and hours of endless practice they have put into this performance, the CASE department is proud of them.

After the whirlwind of emotions and energy, the morning ended with a lunch break. We are truly grateful for the CASE community for participating in this event and supporting our CASE dancers. Every cheer and applause from the sea of yellow serve as proof of the unity of our department. 💛
