From being the sole entry to becoming a finalist in the Borres Youth Leadership Instituteโ€™s Search for Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz (Tertiary Level), her path speaks for itself.

This Womenโ€™s Month, the Office of Gender and Development opens a space for real and meaningful stories. The HER Story Feature Contest highlights women whose strength, dedication, and actions inspire others every day.

One of the inspiring women we recognize is Dr. Susan A. Diosalan. Her leadership and commitment reflect how one woman can create impact and help shape a stronger community. Her story stands as a reminder that true influence comes from service, passion, and purpose.

Each story shared carries a message of courage and growth. Women continue to lead in classrooms, workplaces, and communities. They guide others, support those in need, and bring positive change in ways that may seem simple but are deeply powerful. These stories help us see the value of every womanโ€™s journey.

Through this activity, stories become a way to recognize and appreciate the role of women as leaders and change makers. With the theme โ€œWE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Societyโ€ and โ€œLead Like the Babaylans,โ€ this initiative encourages everyone to honor women who continue to make a difference.
