Exchange Student Excels in Final Demonstration Teaching at Roxas Memorial Integrated School – SPED

On January 29, 2026, Mr. Hilman Ikhlasul Amal, an exchange student from the Teacher Education Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, successfully completed his final demonstration teaching at President Manuel A. Roxas Memorial Integrated School – SPED. This achievement is a key requirement of the SEATEACHER program, which challenges student-teachers to translate their theoretical knowledge into practical classroom teaching under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Mr. Amal earned commendable feedback from his mentor, Dr. Jocelyn A. Iturralde, and his cooperating teacher, Ms. Teresa Mae A. Gaylan. “Hilman showed exceptional performance in his teaching, especially in his mastery of the subject matter. He knows the topics thoroughly and delivers the lessons with confidence,” they shared.

His instructional strategies also stood out. “He uses very effective methods that encourage learners to actively participate. With minor improvements in language use, he will reach even greater heights in his teaching career,” they added.

The successful demonstration marks a significant milestone in Mr. Amal’s professional journey, reflecting both his dedication and the intensive training provided by the SEATEACHER program. It also shows the value of international exchange experiences in enriching teaching practices and fostering cross-cultural learning.

Congratulations, Hilman! ✨
