Team Library Shines 💫

The librarians and staff of the Capiz State University Roxas City Main Campus Library were awarded as Outstanding Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Practitioners in the annual Pagpasanyog 2026, with the theme "CAPSU: Advancing Excellence, Shaping the Future."

The awardees are as follows:

The honors harvested by the entire Library Team is a proof of their dedication to their service not only in providing access to quality information print and online resources, as well as our user information programs, but also by being responsive to the welfare of our students through the regular "Bread na 'Ta free coffee and bread distribution".

The Library Team intends to continue and even further improve these initiatives to widen our reach and stengthen our impact not only within the academe but also in the larger community.

This informative session will guide participants through the essential processes of protecting intellectual property, securing ISBNs for publications, and complying with legal deposit requirements.

Enhance your knowledge of scholarly publishing and ensure that your creative and academic works are properly registered, protected, and recognized.

On May 26, 2026, as part of the ceremonial turnover, copies of the Cultural Mapping of Panay and Guimaras Project book, Sugilanon: Capiz Folklore, and Mga Duog sa Capiz were distributed to CAPSU librarians.

Through this distribution, CAPSU, in partnership with UPV strengthened the accessibility of cultural heritage materials in libraries, ensuring that students, researchers, educators, and the wider community can engage with the documented traditions, stories, places, and identities of Panay and Guimaras for learning, research, and cultural preservation.
