The upcoming 2026 sports tryouts at Capiz State University (CAPSU) Main Campus mark a critical period of intense preparation and athletic drive as student-athletes gear up for the Intramural Meet scheduled on September 16โ€“18, 2026. Echoing through venue grounds, these tryouts serve as the proving ground where aspiring players from various academic departments display their physical conditioning, technical skill, and tactical discipline. For both returning varsity veterans and ambitious freshmen, the tryout process represents far more than a routine selection procedure; it is a grueling test of grit where team rosters are forged and the foundations for campus sports supremacy are established.

Beyond the personal pursuit of athletic glory, these tryouts embody the core spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and collective identity that defines the CAPSUnian community. PAG-ABIABI is not only about welcoming our freshmen. It is a celebration for every Capsunianโ€”new and returningโ€”as we step into another academic year together.

College life is not always about deadlines, exams, and academic pressure. It is also about meeting new people, making friends, trying new things, creating memories, and enjoying the journey along the way.

CAPSUNIANS, as we welcome another academic year through PAG ABI-ABI 2026, letโ€™s celebrate with pride and carry the Filipino spirit in the way we dress. Please take note of the prescribed dress code for August 18, 2026, and come prepared to be part of this special celebration.

Teachers are required to wear their uniforms, while 1st Year students are encouraged to wear a white shirt. 2ndโ€“4th Year students are expected to wear their complete uniform. Meanwhile, SSC & FLP Officers and Organization Presidents are requested to wear Filipiniana and Barong.

Letโ€™s come together, dressed appropriately and proudly, as we welcome a new academic year filled with new faces, new experiences, and new beginnings.
