๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ | Dr. Linan calls for unity amid CAPSUโs challenges and gains
โThese challenges do not define us; our response to them does.โ
This was the message emphasized by Capiz State University (CAPSU) President Dr. Efren L. Linan as he reflected on the universityโs progress and the challenges that remain during his second State of the University Address, August 18.
In the weeks leading to the opening of classes, Dr. Linan personally visited CAPSU campuses and satellite colleges to assess their conditions, speak with faculty and personnel, and identify concerns requiring the attention of the University administration.
โThese visits have allowed us to see firsthand both the progress we have made and the areas where more work must still be done,โ he said, noting that the conditions of some physical facilities and the increasing effects of climate-related disruptions on teaching and learning remain among the concerns observed during his visits.
As the university continues to address these challenges, Dr. Linan also emphasized that CAPSUโs accomplishments are a product of the collective efforts of its entire community.
โMy dear CAPSU family, these accomplishments are not mine alone. They belong to the teachers who work tirelessly behind every student's success story. They belong to our non-teaching personnel who keep our gears running smoothly. And they belong to you, our students, whose resilience, artistry, and thirst for knowledge inspire our administration every single day,โ he said.
Recognizing the shared efforts behind the universityโs progress, Linan encouraged the CAPSU community to build on its momentum and face the future with determination and unity.
โWe have built a powerful momentum, but our journey into the future has only just begun. Hand in hand, let us move forward with absolute resolve, unified strength, and an unshakable belief that we can achieve even greater heights,โ he said.
He concluded by reaffirming his call for the university community to move forward with a shared purpose: โWith unwavering faith in our people and clear purpose in our mission, let us continue to lead, to innovate, to serve, and to rise as ONE CAPSU!โ
