𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀!

In response to the increasing heat index and in accordance with 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟬𝟰-𝟭𝟬𝟵𝟰, the wearing of prescribed school uniforms is temporarily suspended effective immediately until further notice. This measure is implemented to prioritize the health, safety, and overall comfort of all students amid the extreme weather conditions.

While the uniform policy is on hold, all students are still expected to observe proper dress code at all times. Please ensure that your attire remains decent, appropriate, and respectful of the academic environment. Additionally, the wearing of school IDs is strictly required for identification and security purposes within the campus.

We strongly encourage everyone to take extra precautions during this time, stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to heat, and take care of your well-being. Let us all remain responsible and cooperative as we adapt to these temporary adjustments.

𝗙𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 (𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗖) 𝟮𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔.𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Federation of Supreme Student Council (FSSC) successfully conducted its Second Regular Meeting on October 27, 2025, at Capiz State University Main Campus, Roxas City.

The gathering brought together student leaders from the nine campuses, united by a shared commitment to uphold transparency, accountability, and strengthened student leadership across the university system.

The meeting commenced with discussions on the status and clarification of the ₱10 FSSC fund allocation, ensuring financial transparency and proper utilization. This was followed by updates on the SEC registration of the FSSC, where members were informed of the documentary requirements and steps necessary to complete the federation’s official registration.

Subsequently, the body proceeded to the presentation of the revised Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), reflecting the federation’s continued pursuit of organizational structure, good governance, and accountability.

The meeting also featured the presentation of the FSSC Action Plan for Academic Year 2025–2026, outlining key programs and initiatives designed to promote student welfare, leadership development, and community engagement.

In addition, the council signed a resolution in support of “Hamutaway,” a university-wide mental health and wellness break aimed at promoting student well-being, balance, and emotional resilience.

Furthermore, members discussed additional matters and future undertakings to strengthen communication, coordination, and collaboration among all campus student councils.

The council emphasized the importance of shared responsibility and mutual support in achieving the goals of the federation and addressing the collective needs of the student body across the Capiz State University system.

𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺-𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗼

In view of the DOST-PAGASA forecast on the arrival of Typhoon Tino and the potential risks of heavy rains, flooding, and unsafe travel across Western Visayas, Capiz State University suspends all face-to-face classes and implements Work-From-Home (WFH) arrangements for employees starting November 3, 2025, until further notice.

All classes will shift to asynchronous mode to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of life and property.

The WFH arrangement shall apply to employees from campuses and satellite colleges where the respective Local Government Units (LGUs) have not declared work suspension.

For campuses located in LGUs that have officially declared the suspension of work, both on-site and remote work shall likewise be suspended.

All faculty members, staff, and students are advised to prepare for the typhoon, secure their homes and belongings, and avoid unnecessary travel. Everyone is encouraged to stay alert and monitor official announcements from CapSU and their respective LGUs for further updates.

The Federation of Supreme Student Council (FSSC) convened its first regular meeting for Academic Year 2025–2026 on September 29, 2025, at CapSU Pontevedra Campus.

The meeting gathered student leaders from various campuses, all united by one vision — to strengthen student leadership across Capiz State University.

The council began with a discussion on the Crafting of the Action Plan for A.Y. 2025–2026. Through collaborative insight, members presented programs designed to promote student welfare, leadership development, community engagement, and academic excellence. Each proposal reflected their shared belief that leadership is not defined by authority, but by purpose and service.

The second agenda centered on the Review and Revision of the Constitution and By-Laws (CBL). The leaders collectively agreed to revisit and refine the federation’s guiding document. Just as a strong tree stands tall because of its deep roots, the federation seeks to uphold a solid foundation built on principled governance and accountability.

The meeting also highlighted upcoming federation initiatives and underscored the value of collaboration and unity among councils. The members reaffirmed that true progress is not achieved through individual effort, but through collective purpose and shared responsibility.

As the federation moves forward, it carries a renewed commitment to be the voice of the students, the cradle of leadership, and the bridge of service across Capiz State University.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: “𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀”

The last day of the RISE LEADERS training program gathered the participants for a morning of inspiration, leadership, and new beginnings. An encouraging message was delivered by Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, Vice President for Administration and Finance, on behalf of University President Dr. Efren L. Linan. Her message inspired the student leaders to lead with empathy, purpose, and accountability as they continue to uphold the values of service and excellence.

The program proceeded with the election of the new Federation of Supreme Student Council (FSSC) and Federation of Future Leaders of the Philippines (FFLP) officers for Academic Year 2025–2026, followed by their formal induction into office. This marked a new chapter of commitment and leadership for the federation and its partner organization.

The day concluded with a photo opportunity featuring the participants, advisers, and key university officials — a symbolic close to three days of learning, collaboration, and empowerment. The RISE LEADERS training left every participant with renewed passion and a deeper understanding of what it truly means to lead with purpose.

The third and final day of the RISE LEADERS training began with a purposeful clean-up drive along the shores of Brgy. Libas, Dayao, Roxas City. Guided by the spirit of volunteerism and collective action, the student leaders worked hand in hand to restore and protect the coastal environment.

This initiative served as a reflection of what true leadership stands for — service that extends beyond the confines of the organization and reaches into the heart of the community. Through this activity, the participants were reminded that leadership is not only about leading people but also about taking responsibility for the world they live in.

The latter part of the second day centered on strengthening bonds and building camaraderie among the participants. After lunch, an engaging team-building activity was conducted, facilitated by the members of the Borres Youth Leadership Institute, Inc. (BYLI), under the leadership of Atty. Mark D. Borres. The activity encouraged collaboration, trust, and unity — essential qualities that every leader must develop within their organization.

As the day came to a close, the atmosphere shifted from reflection to celebration with “Pagkilalahay: The FSSC and FFLP Socialization Night.” It was a joyful evening that allowed student leaders to unwind, share laughter, and strengthen the friendships that had formed throughout the training.

The socialization night also served as a moment of reflection, where participants looked back on the lessons, challenges, and memories from the past two days. It reminded everyone that leadership is not only about service and responsibility, but also about connection, understanding, and shared purpose.
