The ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ (๐จ๐ฆ๐) proudly participated in the ๐๐ก๐ค๐๐๐ก ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ช๐ข๐ข๐๐ฉ held on August 17, 2026, at the ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น, ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ฑ.
The summit brought together young people, community leaders, advocates, and development partners to inspire meaningful conversations and collective action toward a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable future.
The program featured messages from Ms. Mary Jane Losaria, Mall Manager; Mr. Kier Aventurado, Program Director for Youth Development of Global Peace Foundation Philippines; Ms. Ederlyn A. Samsom, RSW, Social Welfare Officer of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental; and Mr. Jonathan Diaz Jr., Executive Assistant from the Office of the City Mayor of Bacolod City, representing Hon. Greg Gasataya, City Mayor.
The USG also gained valuable insights from the summit's sessions led by Dr. Donalyn G. Lastima, LPT, RPM, RGC, RPSY, President of Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara; John Drick M. Dormis, Program Manager of Negrosanon Initiative for Climate and the Environment, Inc. (NICE); and Joakim Isyru A. Decena, Wildlife Educator of Negros Forest Park.
As student leaders, we recognize that meaningful change begins with informed, empowered, and engaged young people. May the conversations and lessons from this summit inspire us to become leaders who advocate for peace, protect our environment, and create positive change in our communities.
