Eastern Samar State University Salcedo Campus, under the leadership of Campus Administrator, Dr. Eduardo A. Cablao, Jr., together with College Dean Dr. Arvin Anthony S. This commendable achievement reaffirms ESSU Salcedo’s unwavering commitment - being the only University in the entire province offering this program - to providing high-quality education and fostering academic excellence. Year after year, the Campus continues to produce competent, board-passing, and industry-ready Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers equipped with advanced technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional values rooted in the University’s core values of Excellence, Accountability, and Service.

- For Undergraduate Programs, the deadline is this coming Friday - December 12, 2025.
- For the Graduate School and College of Law, the deadline is Saturday, December 13, 2025.

𝐂𝐎𝐄 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Eastern Samar State University-Salcedo Campus successfully concluded a comprehensive three-day Seminar-Workshop on "Syllabi Development & Instructional Planning," which ran from December 2 to 4, 2025. This initiative, facilitated by the College of Education, focused on reinforcing institutional academic quality by transitioning pedagogical approaches toward the rigorous Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) framework. The COE participants successfully demonstrated high proficiency and dedication throughout the workshop's intensive schedule.
The seminar required faculty to integrate advanced methodologies into their course design, covering areas such as the creation of measurable learning objectives, the integration of critical societal imperatives (including gender sensitivity and disaster risk reduction), and the application of modern digital teaching techniques.

In the final practical phase, the COE faculty successfully showcased their expertise. Engr. Lynhard G. Ogario distinguished himself by securing the First Place Winner title in the Teaching Demonstration Marathon, providing a clear example of successful OBE implementation in classroom practice.

Despite the rigorous process, the COE faculty rose to the challenge, performing exceptionally well during the intensive 3-day workshop. Faculty members were recognized across key areas of design: Engr. Emily Hermocilla for the Best Output in Designing Instructional Objectives; Engr. Alyssa Faye Lagramada for the Best Output in Selecting Teaching and Learning Activities, and Mr. Niño Laureano Lumagbas for the Best Output in Creating Assessment Tools. Overall, these achievements confirm the COE's dedication to delivering the highest standard of instruction.
