Childhood should be filled with learning, laughter, play, and dreams of what tomorrow might bring. Yet for children facing cancer, much of that childhood can be interrupted by hospital visits, difficult treatments, and challenges no child should have to endure. Behind every diagnosis is a child with dreams, a family carrying hope, and a community that can choose to stand beside them.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month reminds us that cancer does not only affect the child. It touches families, caregivers, healthcare workers, and communities who share the weight of the journey. Beyond raising awareness, this month calls for compassion, early recognition, access to appropriate care, and continued support for children and families navigating childhood cancer.

As we observe Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Faculty of Pharmacy Student Council honors every young fighter who continues to face each day with courage. We also recognize the families, healthcare professionals, advocates, and communities who provide strength throughout their journey. May we help create a world where every child with cancer is given not only the care they need, but also the chance to grow, dream, and look forward to tomorrow. ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

Today, we take a moment to remember and honor the courageous and brave people who stood and fought for our country, and created the path towards the freedom of the Filipinos in this new generation. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐ŸŒŸ

Each of their stories reminds us that heroism is not about physically fighting, but rather having the courage to serve our country and strengthen our Nation.

In the present, we also honor people who consistently work to help those in need, especially those who have faced adversity. This becomes an eye opener for us Filipinos that every actions counts in making our country stronger in facing challenges.

May their heroism awaken the heroes within us! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Hindi natatapos sa mga pahina ng kasaysayan ang kuwento ng ating mga bayani. Sa bawat panahong dumaraan, may mga Pilipinong pinipiling magsakripisyo, manindigan, at maglingkod para sa kapwa. Ang kanilang kabayanihan ay nagsisilbing paalala na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay hindi lamang ipinapakita sa malalaking sakripisyo, kundi maging sa mga simpleng gawaing may malasakit at pananagutan.

Sa panahon ng mga pagsubok, higit na kailangan ang mga taong handang tumindig para sa tama at kumilos para sa ikabubuti ng nakararami. Mula sa mga manggagawang nagsisikap, gurong humuhubog ng kabataan, kawani ng kalusugang naglilingkod, hanggang sa mga ordinaryong Pilipinong patuloy na tumutulong sa kanilang komunidad, bawat isa ay may kakayahang maging bahagi ng patuloy na kuwento ng kabayanihan.

Ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, ang Konseho ng mga Mag-aaral ng Pakultad ng Parmasya ay nakikiisa sa pag-alala at pagbibigay-pugay sa mga Pilipinong naglaan ng kanilang buhay, lakas, at talino para sa bayan. Kasabay nito, ating kilalanin ang mga makabagong bayani na patuloy na naglilingkod at ang kabataang may kakayahang ipagpatuloy ang kanilang nasimulan.

In view of recent reported incidents of school violence in the country, and as part of the Universityโ€™s continuing commitment to the safety and well-being of the Thomasian community, enhanced campus security measures will be implemented effective immediately. These measures are intended to help protect students, employees, visitors, and all those who enter the campus.

We ask for the patience, vigilance, and full cooperation of the Thomasian community. Security is a shared responsibility. If you see something concerning, report it immediately.

The Faculty of Pharmacy Awards Committee is preparing for the Purple Ribbon Awards 2026. This will cover the activities from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026.

All academic staff, support staff, and students who received awards from outside the faculty in various areas may be nominated. Moreover, the academic staff and students with published research and book publications are called upon.

Kindly check the attached memo for the complete Policies and Guidelines, along with the official link for submitting nominations.

The deadline for submissions and uploading of supporting documents is on September 5, 2026 (Saturday) at 11:59 PM.
