Childhood should be filled with learning, laughter, play, and dreams of what tomorrow might bring. Yet for children facing cancer, much of that childhood can be interrupted by hospital visits, difficult treatments, and challenges no child should have to endure. Behind every diagnosis is a child with dreams, a family carrying hope, and a community that can choose to stand beside them.
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month reminds us that cancer does not only affect the child. It touches families, caregivers, healthcare workers, and communities who share the weight of the journey. Beyond raising awareness, this month calls for compassion, early recognition, access to appropriate care, and continued support for children and families navigating childhood cancer.
As we observe Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Faculty of Pharmacy Student Council honors every young fighter who continues to face each day with courage. We also recognize the families, healthcare professionals, advocates, and communities who provide strength throughout their journey. May we help create a world where every child with cancer is given not only the care they need, but also the chance to grow, dream, and look forward to tomorrow. ๐๏ธ๐
