A new chapter begins for the Young Agriculturists, Building Opportunities, Nurturing Growth (YABONG) as we proudly announce that our organization is now an accredited student organization under Romblon State University – Main Campus! 💚🌾

This milestone is more than a recognition—it is a testament to the collective effort, commitment, and determination of our YABONG Executive Officers. In just one day of intensive preparation, our officers worked hand in hand to complete the necessary documents and requirements for accreditation, proving that when we work together with one purpose, great things can be accomplished.

A special acknowledgment is extended to one if our YABONG Executive Officer, whose unwavering dedication and commitment played a significant role in making this milestone possible. Within the one-day preparation for accreditation, she took on the tremendous responsibility of preparing all the necessary documents for YABONG, most especially our Constitution and By-Laws (CBL)—a vital foundation of our accreditation. Her willingness to dedicate her time, effort, and attention to detail, even under time constraints, deserves our sincerest appreciation. Her work may have been done behind the scenes, but its impact will remain part of YABONG's foundation. Thank you for giving your best when YABONG needed it most. 🌱📖🌱📖

We also proudly recognize the Animal Science Major and Crop Science Major as the official sub-organizations under YABONG. 🐄🌾🌱

Their recognition marks an important step toward building a stronger and more united Agriculture community. We look forward to countless collaborations, shared initiatives, meaningful projects, and opportunities for growth with both majors as we work together to strengthen the BS Agriculture Program and empower the next generation of agriculturists.

To our YABONG Adviser, Ms. Lovely C. Barrientos, thank you for your constant motivation, guidance, encouragement, and belief in what YABONG can become. Your support continues to inspire us to pursue our goals with purpose and determination. 🤍

To the CAFES Administration, thank you for the trust and confidence you have placed in YABONG and in our young agriculturists. We accept this trust with great responsibility and are committed to proving that YABONG can perform with excellence, serve with purpose, and bring pride to the CAFES Community—most especially to the BS Agriculture Department. 🌾💚

This accreditation is not the finish line. It is our starting point.

🌱 SHAPING A PRODUCTIVE FUTURE FOR ROMBLON STATE UNIVERSITY

Highlights of the Day

Today, August 13, 2026, Romblon State University–Agpudlos Campus gathered faculty, staff, and students for the presentation of the RSU Strategic Development Plan (2026–2035).

The event served as a meaningful opportunity to look beyond the present and envision a more productive, innovative, sustainable, and globally competitive future for the University. Through shared ideas, active participation, and a common commitment to excellence, the strategic plan provides a roadmap toward strengthening academic programs, research and innovation, community engagement, and institutional development.

The gathering highlighted that the future of RSU is not built by one person or one office alone—it is shaped through the collective efforts, commitment, and collaboration of the entire university community.

As RSU moves forward, may this strategic plan inspire everyone to contribute toward a stronger institution and a brighter future for its students, communities, and stakeholders. 💚💛

"Resources may be limited, but the spirit of the students was on fire." 🔥

And just like that, 🌱 PSD 2026 is DONE ✅

6 weeks of hands-on learning taught us more than what’s in books.
It taught us how to work hard, manage time, care for animals, and grow together as future Animal Scientists.

To our professors, facilitators, and classmates — thank you for making this in-campus practicum joyful and meaningful.
This journey may be over, but the knowledge, experience, and memories will stay with us forever.

ANSCI YOUTHS WEEK 4🌱💚 ✨
Sabi nga nila: AnSci students don’t just feed animals… we grow their food too.🌱

Today we planted more than forages.
We planted 280 Madre de Agua + 280 Mulberry trees + a lot of patience + unity.

Shades? Check ✅
560 Planting materials? Check ✅
Teamwork? Always ✅

Simple task, but it taught us: Growth Takes Time and Teamwork is must be the Strength.

Both blocks underwent midterm oral🧏 and practical assessment 🏇to test what they have learned from three weeks of field experience.
And Yes! they've succeeded.
