Learning Through Laboratory Experience! 🌱

Today, we, the Crop Science Majors, had a meaningful hands-on experience in our Crop Physiology and Plant Growth Laboratory Exercises, where we explored seed morphology, seed physiology, and germination. 🌱🔬

Through observation and actual laboratory activities, we gained a deeper understanding of how seeds are structured, how they function, and how the germination process begins. It was another valuable experience that allowed us to connect what we learned in the classroom with actual agricultural science. ❤️🌾

Another day of learning, discovering, and growing as future Crop Scientists! 🌱❤️✊

A memorable and exciting experience for us as students in our Methods of Agricultural Research class! 🌾📚

Today, we had the opportunity to present our thesis title proposals, focusing on Crop Science and the different issues, problems, and challenges experienced in island-based crop production. 🏝️🌱

Standing in front of the class and defending our proposed research topics was both challenging and rewarding. It allowed us to gain confidence, learn from the questions and suggestions, and understand how important it is to develop research that addresses the real needs of farmers and our island communities.

This experience reminded us that every great research journey begins with a simple idea, courage to present it, and determination to improve it. 💚🌾

Way to go, fellow student-researchers! ❤️😊

RSU Strategic Development Plan Presentation

On August 13, 2026, Romblon State University–Agpudlos Campus conducted the presentation of the RSU Strategic Development Plan (2026–2035). The event brought together faculty members, staff, and students to learn about the University’s plans, priorities, and direction for the coming years.

The presentation focused on establishing a clear path toward a more productive, innovative, sustainable, and progressive future for Romblon State University. It highlighted the importance of strengthening quality education, research and innovation, community engagement, and institutional development to better serve students and communities.

The activity also emphasized that achieving the University’s long-term goals requires the cooperation and commitment of the entire RSU community. Through collaboration, shared responsibility, and active participation, the university community can contribute to the successful implementation of the strategic plan.

Overall, the event was a meaningful step toward creating a stronger and more productive future for Romblon State University. It inspired students, faculty, and staff to work together in supporting the University’s vision and contributing to its continued growth and development.
