SULATBATA: WRITE Project Recognized as the Best LTS Project 📝✍️✨

Our dearest followers, it is with immense pride and gratitude that we share the success of our community extension project, SULATBATA: WRITE Project, for being honored with the Literacy Legacy Award during the recently concluded NSTP Completion and Recognition Ceremony held last June 10, 2026 at NISU Ajuy Gymnasium.

This achievement would never have been possible without the people who welcomed us, guided us, and became part of this meaningful journey.

To Cudionan Barangay Captain, Hon. F. Azucena, thank you, Kap, for opening your community to us and allowing us to become part of it even for a short period of time.

To Ma’am Nilda F. Francisco, Teacher-in-Charge of Cudionan Elementary School, we sincerely thank you for the partnership and for giving us an opportunity not only to teach but also to learn through the process of helping young minds grow.

To our constant guide and helping hand, Ma’am Honely Sumbanon Baoy, words will never be enough to express our gratitude. You did not simply allow us to walk through this journey — you made sure that every step we took was leading us toward the right path.

To our NSTP Coordinator Dr. Jay F. Falagne
We sincerely thank you sir for sharing this lesson. It arrived at just the right moment, and its wisdom will guide us as we continue our teaching journey.

To our dear Grade 4 – Oyster learners, thank you for becoming one of the most beautiful parts of this experience. Within the four walls of your classroom, we shared laughter that still lingers in our hearts, enjoyed simple meals that became the tastiest because they were shared with genuine happiness, shed tears of exhaustion and joy, and faced every challenge with resilience and smiles. We came hoping to teach you lessons from books, but in the process, you taught us lessons that no classroom could ever fully explain — kindness, hope, joy in simple things, and the beauty of sincere connections. Continue to dream, grow, and believe in yourselves because your stories are only beginning.

Most importantly, to the members of this project, congratulations to all of us. As your project leader, I am deeply grateful for every effort, sacrifice, and genuine love you poured into this journey. This recognition is not built by one person alone; it was built through sleepless preparations, shared responsibilities, tired smiles, and hearts that chose to serve despite the challenges.

Awards may be placed on shelves and names may eventually fade from programs, but there is a different kind of success that lasts longer — the kind that lives in the hearts of people we touched. Because at the end of the day, we did not only leave a project behind in Cudionan; we left pieces of ourselves there, and unknowingly, they left pieces of themselves within us too. 💙

For a moment, we became teachers, guides, and “mothers” to 29 young minds—and that alone changed us. ✨March 13-14, 2026 ...

Little by little, word by word, we are growing and learning together.

Day 2 of our SulatBata WRITE Project📚✨

Today, we focused on reading and spelling, and our learners did such an amazing job trying their best to read words and spell them out through fun writing activities.
There were lots of cheering as everyone encouraged each other along the way.
Seeing the kids slowly gain knowledge and enjoy learning made the day extra special for all of us.

Honestly, it’s been such an incredible experience—so fulfilling, especially for us future teachers. Seeing the kids light up and knowing we’re making even a tiny difference really hits home. It’s moments like these that remind us why we’re so passionate about education and community support. Feeling super inspired and grateful to be part of something so meaningful! 💖✨

A simple pencil, a sheet of paper, and a group of eager young learners—today marked the beginning of something meaningful.

First Day of Implementation | SulatBata: W.R.I.T.E Project

Our hearts are full of gratitude as we successfully conducted the first day of implementation of SulatBata: a Community Writing Program for Children together with the enthusiastic Grade 4 learners of Cudionan Elementary School. Seeing the smiles, excitement, and eagerness of the learners truly made the day meaningful for all of us. ✏️📚

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Ma’am Nilda F. Francisco, Teacher III and Teacher-in-Charge of the school, for giving us the opportunity to join the Friday class of the Grade 4 students. Your support and trust in our initiative mean so much to us.

We are also grateful to their adviser, Ma’am Honely V. Ba-oy, for warmly welcoming us into the classroom and supporting the activity.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the SK leadership of Barangay Cudionan and Barangay Tiabas—especially Hon. KC Ann Estrella and Hon. Raymart T. Bagacay—for generously sponsoring the snacks for the children today. Your kindness truly added joy to the experience of our young learners. 💙

We are also deeply grateful to Hon. Ronie F. Azucena, Barangay Captain of Cudionan, for allowing us to implement this project and for supporting initiatives that uplift the children in the community.

Today marks the beginning of a meaningful journey of learning, service, and community collaboration. Together, we hope to inspire young minds and nurture their love for writing and learning—one word, one sentence, and one story at a time. ✨
