LORMA Colleges proudly announces the successful registration of copyrights for institutional works from the Innovation Hub & Emerging Technology and the College of Computer Studies & Engineering.
The Copyright Certificates have been officially released by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) for two groundbreaking studies: "AlgoVision," an LLM-driven framework for visualizing and teaching data structures and algorithms, and "HEARTMONICS," a study on classifying heart sounds through image processing.
๐ AlgoVision: An LLM-Driven Framework for Visualization and Instructional Explanation for Data Structures and Algorithms Education
Authored by Gericho Miles Benitez Vizcarra, Basty Generosa Munar, Lawrence David Subala, and Janelli Mijares Mendez
๐ HEARTMONICS: Heart Sound Classification Through Image Processing
Authored by Eloisa Palitayan Rombaoa, Tyrrone Gil Ragpala Azusano, Luke Custodio Ganuelas, Johnny Flores Verzola, and Janelli Mijares Mendez
This milestone marks the first time LORMA Colleges has registered copyrights for its institutional work, a proud moment that shows our ideas are not only shared in classrooms and research forums but are also recognized and protected as original contributions to education and healthcare technology. One study transforms how students learn algorithms, while the other advances the way heart sounds are analyzed and understood.
Congratulations to our researchers for this historic achievement! This is a testament to the growing culture of innovation, research, and intellectual excellence among Lormanians, paving the way for more original contributions from our community in the years to come.
