The Office of the CBA Governor hereby designates Ms. Apple Joy A. Buen as Officer-in-Charge Governor (OIC Governor) of the CBA Departmental Council from October 6 to 9, 2026, during the temporary absence of CBA Governor Sherjay O. Pagaduan.

CBA Governor Sherjay O. Pagaduan will be attending the CICM Student Leaders Convergence at the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USL Tuguegarao) from October 6 to 9, 2026.

During the stated period, the OIC Governor shall temporarily exercise the necessary functions, authority, and responsibilities of the CBA Governor as may be required to ensure the continued and effective operation of the CBA Departmental Council.

The College of Business and Accountancy Council held its 4th Regular Meeting on September 28, 2026, at the Social Center, Third Floor, Main Building.

Presided over by 𝐂𝐁𝐀 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐎. 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐧 and noted by 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐕. 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, 𝐂𝐌𝐌𝐒, 𝐂𝐇𝐏, the gathering brought together leaders from various CBA organizations to coordinate preparations for the upcoming CBA Departmental Week, with a focus on fostering student engagement, camaraderie, and meaningful participation.

The meeting also formally introduced the newly elected and appointed Council officers and committee heads for Academic Year 2026–2027, strengthening collaboration and coordination among the different organizations.

More than a meeting, the gathering served as a space for leaders to exchange ideas, align responsibilities, and work toward meaningful activities for the CBA community. Through collaboration, communication, and a shared commitment to service, we continue moving forward as one community.

A Call To Serve, A Witness To Sacrifice

With grateful hearts, we gathered for the College Council Induction Mass, welcoming our newly elected leaders and formally recognizing the different clubs and organizations that have answered the call to serve the CBA community.

In his homily, 𝙍𝙚𝙫. 𝙁𝙧. 𝙍𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝙏𝙚𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙖𝙘, 𝘾𝙄𝘾𝙈 reminded us that leadership is not simply about holding a position—it is about being a witness. A witness to service, commitment, and sacrifice. For every leader, there are things quietly given for the sake of others: time, resources, effort, and hard work.

To lead is to give a part of ourselves so that others may be heard, supported, and served. May this induction remind us that our titles are not privileges to carry alone, but responsibilities entrusted to us.

As we begin this new chapter, may we lead with humility, integrity, and faith, and may our service become a living witness to our commitment to the CBA community.

Here’s to a year of leadership that serves, sacrifices, and makes a difference.
