The Environmental Science Organization successfully brought together the EnviSci community for its General Assembly on September 14, 2026, at the SJH Auditorium!
The program featured a mix of orientation, inspiration, and activities, with university and department leaders sharing valuable messages and guidance for the academic year.
Prof. Muriel Caballero, Campus Administrator and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, shared motivating words on university services, policies, and tips for students. Dr. Adrian Bon Santiago, Assistant Dean, emphasized the importance of Environmental Science and encouraged students to appreciate the role of the field.
Ms. Veronica Baje, Environmental Science Department Head, oriented the students and introduced the department faculty, while Mr. Ronald Constantino, Practicum Coordinator, shared remarks highlighting the continued growth of the department. Mr. Erick Gemperoso of the Center for Guidance Services also introduced the officeโs services and programs for students.
The organization segment featured the recognition of the previous termโs officers and their achievements, led by adviser Mr. Jerico Soriano, followed by the oath-taking of the new officers. President Christian Jakob Mercado then presented ESOโs previous accomplishments and the calendar of activities for the new academic year.
With the guidance of our leaders and the active participation of our students, the General Assembly marked another step toward a more connected and engaged EnviSci community.
