Salute to Service, Honor, and Legacy!
The CTU–San Fernando Extension Campus ROTC Unit proudly stands witness to the culmination of hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment as we honor the next generation of nation-builders.
With pride, honor, and a deep sense of gratitude, the CTU–San Fernando Extension Campus ROTC Unit celebrates another meaningful milestone in the lives of our cadets through the ROTC Class 2025–2026 Completion Ceremony.
This occasion stands as a testament to the discipline, perseverance, and commitment of our completers, who have faithfully answered the call to training, service, and nation-building. The ceremony, held under the theme “Committed Technologists for Universal Progress: Nation-Building Through Selfless Training and Purpose”, honored the ROTC completers who successfully reached this important milestone in their training and formation.
The program began with the formal presentation of candidates for completion led by Staff Sgt. Dennis B. Salvador, Adjutant General Service, Philippine Army, followed by the recommendation for confirmation by Dr. Wilfredo Anoos, the Campus Director of CTU- San Fernando, and the official confirmation of the completers by Prof. Belinda P. Babiera, the NSTP Director of CTU-Main Campus. This solemn part of the ceremony set the tone and affirmed the readiness of our completers to move forward in service and responsibility.
A highlight of the program was the giving of certificates to the Completers , Special Awardees, and ROTC Cadets 2nd Class. Special recognition goes to the Special Awardees, who served as participants for the Arrival of Honors during the RAATI, and to the other ROTC Aspirants who demonstrated dedication and discipline throughout the training. This moment served as a formal acknowledgment of their hard work and commitment to the ideals of the ROTC.
The ceremony was further graced by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, LTJG Rev. Fr. Reynoso C. Torcende of CTU—Moalboal Campus who expressed admiration for the ROTC program of CTU–San Fernando. He noted with pride that among all extension and satellite campuses of Cebu Technological University, CTU–San Fernando is the only campus offering ROTC as its NSTP program—a distinction that reflects the campus’ unique commitment to military training and discipline.
Everyone was also inspired by the messages of Hon. Carlos Miguel Canoy, Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Committee on Education of San Fernando, and Prof. Julius Basallo of CTU-Barili Campus, whose words challenged our completers to pursue excellence, leadership, and public service. The event was also attended by other officials from the camp, whose presence showed strong support for the ROTC program and the cadets.
This milestone would not have been possible without the steadfast support and initiative of our campus leadership and NSTP personnel. The unit extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Wilfredo Anoos, Campus Director, for his leadership in making this event meaningful and successful.
Special recognition is given to Prof. Stevie B. Manugas, NSTP Director, whose vision, dedication, and initiative have been instrumental in sustaining and strengthening the ROTC program in our campus. His unwavering commitment to student development and nation-building provided the direction and support that made this ceremony and the entire training cycle possible.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ROTC 1st Class and the ROTC Unit of CTU–Main Campus for their guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support to the ROTC San Fernando Unit throughout the entire program until graduation day. Your leadership and example helped shape our cadets and strengthened the spirit of the unit.
We likewise extend our appreciation to the ROTC Cadets 2nd Class and the rest of the ROTC Aspirants for their active participation, cooperation, and invaluable assistance throughout the preparation and conduct of the ceremony.
The program was hosted by Ms. Christine Mae B. Generalao, the NSTP Coordinator herself.
To the Completers of Class 2025–2026:
You have proven that discipline shapes character, and commitment builds a nation. Carry forward the values you learned here—serve with integrity, lead with courage, and stand firm in the face of every challenge. The flag you now honor is in good hands. Continue to be the living embodiment of Service, Honor, and Legacy. The nation awaits what you will become.
