On August 4, 2026, the Department of Pharmacy gathered today at the Multipurpose Hall for the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, where students were updated on important announcements, academic reminders, and upcoming activities for the semester. It served as an opportunity for every 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 to come together, stay informed, and begin the journey ahead with renewed purpose and commitment to the profession.

As another chapter unfolds, we wish every one of you the very best in their studies and, for our interns, a meaningful and fulfilling internship experience. May this semester be filled with growth, resilience, and countless opportunities to learn, serve, and excel. 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧, 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬! 💜✨

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸, 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀! 📣📣📣

On July 31 2026, purple flaglets were raised and another chapter began as the Department of Pharmacy warmly welcomed its newest Pharmates during the 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the University of the Assumption.

The day commenced with the parade walk where freshmen from the College of Nursing and Pharmacy gathered at the T.S.I.R.U. Building before making their way to the university gymnasium for the official welcoming program. The festivities continued at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Students’ Courtyard (STASCY), where students visited the booth fairs. We were delighted to meet our newest Pharmates, along with upperclassmen and students from different departments who dropped by our booth.

The day concluded with a freshmen tour and orientation. Introducing the values, opportunities, and community that will guide them throughout their school year. As new beginnings unfold, may this day serve as a reminder that every great pharmacist once stood exactly where they are now. Ready to learn, grow, and 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗲. All BS Pharmacy students are assigned under the School of Health, Arts, and Sciences (𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗦) section. If you’re a Pharmacy freshie, simply proceed to the SHAS seat plan upon entering the gym after the parade.

The incoming fourth-year student pharmacists of the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 attended their 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 (EPP) Orientation where they were introduced to the expectations, responsibilities, and professional standards that will guide them throughout their internship. The session also covered the 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼’𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘁’𝘀 of experiential training, equipping future pharmacists with the knowledge and mindset needed as they begin this significant chapter of their professional journey! 💊✨
