Ipinakikilala ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas ang First Philippine Polymer Banknote Series. Kabilang dito ang 1000-piso, na nauna nang nailunsad noong Abril 2022; at ng mga bagong denominasyon: 500-, 100-, at 50-piso.

Tampok sa polymer banknotes ang imahe ng mga hayop at halamang matatagpuan lamang sa Pilipinas, at mga disenyo ng tradisyonal na habi sa bansa. Sinasalamin ng mga ito ang mayamang biodiversity at pamanang kultural ng bansa.

Ang polymer banknote series ay smarter, cleaner, at stronger. Smarter dahil sa taglay nitong advanced anti-counterfeiting features at mas maliit na carbon footprint. Cleaner dahil hindi nabubuhay nang matagal ang mga virus at bakterya sa polymer. Stronger dahil mas tumatagal ang mga ito sa sirkulasyon kaysa sa perang papel.
Magsisumulang ilabas sa sirkulasyon ang mga bagong denominasyon ng polymer banknotes sa Enero 2025.
