The Faculty Association of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (FAD) elected a new slate of executive officers and Board of Directors members who ran unopposed during its regular biennial elections which was held at the International Convention Center on the DMMMSU-North La Union Campus (NLUC) on August 17, 2026.

Newly elected President Dr. Floribeth P. Cuison takes the helm of the organization, succeeding outgoing leader Dr. Mark Anthony C. Ochoa. In her new role, Cuison will represent DMMMSUโ€™s faculty members on the Universityโ€™s Board of Regents. DMMMSU President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., administered the oath of office to the executive leadership and board members following the filing of candidacies, voting, and official proclamation.

The DMMMSU MLUC College of Graduate Studies invites faculty, students, and researchers to witness the upcoming Final Defense sessions of our graduate candidates. Come support our scholars as they present their research milestones and advance knowledge in their respective fields.

๐€๐ƒ๐•๐ˆ๐’๐Ž๐‘๐˜ | Information has reached the DMMMSU administration about a social media post from a certain Britney Madonna Kepya, who mentioned, among others, a bomb threat, insults, and provoking statements against the Mid La Union Campus (MLUC), its students, and personnel.

As a precautionary measure, classes shall be held online or asynchronously and work-from-home arrangement shall be conducted for the whole day on Monday, July 27, 2026 at MLUC.

Coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP), the La Union Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit (LUPECU), and other concerned authorities has already been sought to assess the reported threat and ensure safety.

DMMMSU fosters a safe environment for all and condemns malefactors that pose threats or expose students and personnel to danger. Appropriate legal action will be pursued against those responsible.

We encourage everyone to remain calm, rely only on official University announcements, and refrain from sharing unverified information.

Due to the surge of the fuel prices, the University restores the work-from-home arrangement under the existing University Energy Conservation Protocol effective today, July 20, 2026.

Classes shall be conducted through asynchronous modalities every Friday, while DMMMSU personnel shall observe the prescribed work-from-home arrangement.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) approved Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State Universityโ€“Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) to serve as a Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) under the Scholarships for Staff and Instructorsโ€™ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP). Through this designation, DMMMSU-MLUC accepts and trains CHED-SIKAP scholars in its post-graduate programs.

In accordance with Memorandum No. 00063 regarding the scheduled JC 3 Caravan, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) will implement asynchronous learning to ensure uninterrupted instruction while allowing faculty and committee members to fully participate in the activity.

The Management Information System (MIS) Office (Third Floor Admin Building) will be OPEN this Saturday for the processing of student IDs. All CGS students who have not yet secured their ID are encouraged to take this opportunity to complete the process.

For students who do not have face-to-face classes or have online classes on Saturday, you may send your ID picture to [email protected].

Please also accomplish the ID Application Form, which will be provided and should be presented when you visit the MIS Office.
