LOOK| CTU-San Fran’s four (4) academicians successfully presented their researches in the 6th Cebu International Congress on Science, Engineering, Social Sciences and Education (SESSE-26) held on March 25-27, 2026 at Holiday Plaza Hotel, Cebu, Philippines.

Research title: “Improving Teacher Competency: LET Performance Analysis and Specialization Gaps Among CTU-San Francisco Graduates”

📌 Dr. Maria Cristina L. Nudalo-Gonzaga, Dean, College of Technology and Engineering

Research Title: “Technology Integration in Secondary Education: A Study of the Technological Learning in Camotes Island High Schools, Cebu, Philippines”

📌 Dr. Vincent S. Borres, Chair, Internationalization and ASEAN Integration

Research Title: “Total Quality Management Importance, Practices and Guest Satisfaction Among the Selected Resorts in Camotes Islands”

📌 Mrs. Szarah V. Sampan, CBM Faculty Member

Research Title: “Physical Activity, Quality of Physical Education, and Academic Performance of Students in the Camotes Group of Islands: Enhanced Education Program”

Cebu Technological University (CTU), Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Canada, and Universal Researchers UAE materialized the conference.

Mrs. Sampan was recognized as one of the Best Oral Paper awardees across four categories [as per the conference tracks] along with Dr. Michelle Trangia-CTU-Main Campus, Dr. Rosalyn Alburo-CTU-Argao Campus, and Dr. Christie Ann Jaca-CTU-Main Campus.

Congratulations, Dr. Maria Cristina L. Nudalo-Gonzaga, Dean of the College of Technology and Engineering, for making it to Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship in O.P. Jindal Global University in India.

This is indeed a huge leap to the Internationalization endeavors in CTU-San Francisco Campus marking a history as the first academician in our campus to participate in this highly anticipated academic and research journey!

LOOK | San Fran dean takes final slot for fellowship in Haryana

O.P. Jindal Global University in Haryana, India, notified Dr. Maria Cristina Gonzaga of her selection for the Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship, making her the sixth and final CTU fellow—out of 24 applicants [from CTU alone]—to join scholars from around the globe.

Dr. Gonzaga is taking her academic work across borders within the framework of a research fellowship—a first for the campus off the coast of Cebu province.

Earlier today, San Francisco’s Internationalization and ASEAN Chair Dr. Vincent Borres shared with IAI leadership that with the development San Francisco’s mobility initiatives are expected to gain traction from here on.

The dean of the College of Technology and Engineering has also applied for a Canada-based scholarship with a September intake. With the latest news, she is clearly bound for the heat of the Indic summer.

HAPPENING NOW| Student Internship Abroad Program Courtesy Meeting with the OIC University President, Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual and Adapper Management Consultancy Managing Director, Dr. Adalbert Alcaide.

The meeting highlights the Student Internships in Thailand and in Hong Kong last Academic Year 2024-2025 and the current academic year.

Dr. Alcaide shared to the group the positive feedback of our Industry partners in both countries towards our student-interns.

AMC and CTU are always ready and committed to support students in their endeavor towards international internships.

Dr. Raamah Rosales has been selected as a lecturer at the Southeast Asia Maritime Economy Experts' On-site Visit Program in September. CTU's partner, GoStudy, has been very keen on channelizing support from Chinese universities, e.g., Guangxi University of Finance and Economics, to promote blue economy in Asia and beyond.
