UPDATE: The Office of the Student Regent have been informed that the request for the suspension of classes or the implementation of asynchronous learning modalities on February 25, 2026, in observance of the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ.
Information reveals that the date falls on a Wednesday, when most students do not have regular classes except for those scheduled once a week. Furthermore, the administration shared that several faculty members are scheduled for classroom observations as part of the โOutstanding Teacherโ search, and there is currently limited time to reschedule these evaluations. With the University Foundation Week set for the following week, institutional schedules are likewise constrained.
While the request was not granted, we respect the decision of the administration. We continue to encourage the Normalista community to meaningfully commemorate EDSA through reflection, dialogue, and participation in lawful and peaceful activities that honor the values of democracy, freedom, and civic responsibility.

Information reveals that the date falls on a Wednesday, when most students do not have regular classes except for those scheduled once a week. Additionally, February 25 has been declared a working holiday; therefore, regular university operations will remain in effect.
