Eight Grade 11 and 12 students of College of Saint Adela, Inc. put their vocabulary, quick thinking, and teamwork to the test as they joined the ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ at the Atrium of SM City San Jose del Monte on September 25, 2026.
๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ผ, competing in four pairs.
The tournament featured Quick 2, a San Joseรฑo board game designed to develop vocabulary, speed of thinking, and strategic skills using only 32 tiles per game. With approximately 200 participants from 14 high schools, the competition challenged every pair to think fast and work closely with their teammate.
After the elimination rounds, two CSA teamsโ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐น๐ฒ ๐. ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ผโadvanced to the Top 40 and successfully moved on to the Top 24 Finals.
Although the teams were unable to secure their places to the Top 12, their journey was already a meaningful achievement. More than the rankings, the experience gave our students an opportunity to sharpen their vocabulary, strengthen teamwork, and discover that learning can happen beyond the classroom.
For Salvador, Gabinay, Balacano, Hugo, Madeja, Arriba, Nacional, and Navarro, the Gamified Words Challenge Tournament 2026 was not simply about making it to the Top 12.
It was about stepping up to the table, thinking on their feet, trusting their teammates, and discovering that learning can sometimes happen one tileโand one wordโat a time.
Congratulations to our CSA Quick 2 players! Your 32 tiles became a game of courage, strategy, and teamwork.
