𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 | Bagamat ipinamalas ng Gabrielian Seraphs ang matinding determinasyon, kinapos pa rin sila laban sa umaatikabong opensa ng Sapang Palay National High School (SPNHS) sa deciding set, 25-14, 25-21, 21-25, 19-25, 15-12. Ang pagkapanalong ito ang tuluyang nagluklok sa SPNHS bilang kampeon ng BCP Knights League Season 1 Women’s Volleyball Tournament.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝐁𝐅𝐏 𝐒𝐉𝐃𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐃𝐒𝐆𝐀

To ensure that every Gabrielian is equipped with vital fire prevention knowledge and emergency readiness, a comprehensive Fire Prevention Seminar was held today, May 20, 2026, at the CDSGA Activity Hall.

The campus-wide safety initiative drew a large crowd of students, faculty, and staff, all gathering to learn how to proactively protect their homes and campus from fire hazards.

The event was made possible through a vital partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) San Jose Del Monte. BFP officers led the discussions, guiding the Gabrielian community through essential safety protocols, common fire causes, and the correct way to operate firefighting equipment during a crisis.

By prioritizing education as the first line of defense, CDSGA and the BFP have successfully strengthened the community’s capacity to recognize risks and act decisively in emergencies.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | On May 19, 2026 criminology students of Batch 2025–2026 officially graduated on their Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) journey held at the City Covered Court, with COL MARIO LITO I RETIRVA INF (GSC) PA, Group Commander of the 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA, serving as the distinguished guest of honor and speaker. The event honored the dedication, discipline, and leadership demonstrated by the cadets throughout their rigorous training.

Kinapos ng isang set ang Sto. Cristo sa pag-akyat sa podium matapos patalsikin ng Gabrielian Seraphs sa tatlong set, 25-22, 24-26, 25-19, sa BCP Knights League Season 1 Boys Volleyball Battle for 3rd.

Matindi ang laban sa unang dalawang set kung saan nagpalitan ng clutch plays ang dalawang koponan, ngunit bumigay ang depensa ng Sto. Cristo sa ikatlong set nang mag-init ang opensa ng Gabrielian Seraphs. Sa huli, nanaig ang mas matatag na depensa at agresibong opensa ng Gabrielians upang tapusin ang serye.

Do you control what you read—or is it controlling you?

Censorship policies and platform regulations are everywhere, claiming to protect users from harmful content. But behind the shield of “safety” lies a bigger question: who decides what’s harmful?

When a few authorities or algorithms determine what we can or cannot see, the balance of knowledge and perspective becomes unequal.

Lower voices and minority opinions are often the first to be silenced, while dominant narratives face little scrutiny. The impact? Public discourse may shrink, creativity could be stifled, and the right to question authority may weaken.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝐂𝐃𝐒𝐆𝐀 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐄𝐓

Today, May 12, 2026, aspiring teachers across the country celebrated as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released the results of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), with the Colegio de San Gabriel Arcangel, Inc. community proudly joining the nationwide success.

CDSGA posted impressive results in both of its education programs, with the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program attaining a perfect 100% passing rate, while the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) program earned a 91.67% passing rate.

Meanwhile, the PRC noted that the March 2026 LET recorded the highest overall passing rate nationwide in recent years, marking a significant milestone for the education sector and for thousands of aspiring professional teachers across the Philippines.

Students, faculty members, and administrators of CDSGA expressed pride and gratitude following the release of the results, recognizing the hard work and sacrifices behind the achievement.

With another successful LET performance, CDSGA continues to uphold its excellence in teacher education, inspiring future Gabrielian educators to pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s educational landscape.

Hindi kailanman mapapatid ng malamig na bala ang hininga ng kasinungalingan; bagkus, nagsisilbi itong madilim na patak ng ulan na lalong nagpapatatag sa pag-ugat nito sa lupa. Sa bawat hagupit ng banta, sa bawat lason ng red-tagging, at sa bawat marahas na pagbusal sa bibig ng mga nag bantang magsalita, tila pinalalawak lamang ang mapanglaw na anino ng takot na nagnanais lumukob sa ating kamalayan.

Ngunit narito ang katotohanan. Isang tahimik na talim na gumagapang sa kadiliman, marahan subalit walang pagsalang pumuputol sa mga ugat ng panlilinlang. Sapagkat ang malayang pamamahayag ay hindi lamang isang hamak na tinig sa gitna ng kawalan—ito ay isang nagniningas na apoy na tumutupok sa mga hibla ng kasingungalingan, at ang bukang-liwayway na gumigising sa nahihimbing na bayan mula sa bilangguan ng sapilitang kadiliman.

Huwag nating hayaang mamatay ang kislap ng ating mga sulo. Sa gitna ng nagbabantang unos, tumayo tayo at maging katuwang ng malayang pamamahayag.

Huwag nating payagang malunod ang boses ng katuwiran sa ingay ng pananakot.

Ipagtanggol ang katotohanan, itakwil ang panlilinlang, at maging bahagi ng liwanag na dudurog sa kadiliman. Sapagkat ang kalayaan ng bayan ay nakasandig sa tapang ng bawat isa na magsalita at manindigan.

Ang pag-akyat sa bundok ay hindi krimen. Hindi kasalanan ang hanapin at pakinggan ang mga kuwento ng mga nasa laylayan. At lalong hindi dapat kamatayan ang maging kapalit ng pamumuhay sa mga komunidad na malayo sa kabihasnan. Ngunit sa kailaliman ng ugat ng ating bansa, sapat na ang isang hakbang sa lupang tinatakan bilang “teritoryo ng kalaban” upang ikaw ay husgahan—isang banta na dapat patahimikin, isang buhay na madaling burahin.

Sa nangyaring trahedyang sinapit nina Allysa Alano, isang mag-aaral sa UP Diliman na puno ng pangarap na ipaglaban ang bansa laban sa imperyalismo; RJ Ledesma, isang mamamahayag na tungkulin lamang ay isalaysay ang mga nangyayari sa bansa; at iba pang mga mananaliksik, malinaw itong malaking sampal sa ating demokrasya. Nakapanlulumo sa tuwing may nasasawi o red-tagging sa mga liblib na lugar, ang lagi nilang tinutugon sa publiko ay: “Bakit sila naroon?” o “New People’s Army (NPA) kasi sila.”
