IN PHOTOS: On 14 December 2024, OMSC Murtha Campus successfully conducted its 13th ROTC training day for basic and advanced cadets at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR), starting at 1300H.

The activity began with the organization of cadets, followed by a lecture on Gender and Development led by Ryan Mark A. Ambong Lagr, MBA, GAD Coordinator of Murtha Campus.

The training was monitored by ROTC instructors and supervised by Cpl Riche L. Margarse (Inf) PA, ROTC Division NCO, and ROTC Coordinator Roger T. Amson, MAEd, Assistant Professor IV.

The session highlighted the importance of equality, inclusivity, and respect, equipping cadets to lead diverse teams and foster professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.

IN PHOTOS: On 14 December 2024, OMSC Murtha Campus successfully conducted the 12th ROTC training day for both basic and advanced cadets at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR), commencing at 0800H.

The training included classroom lectures on Military History, delivered by PFC John Ronald M. Sabolo PA (Res).

The activity was closely monitored by ROTC instructors and supervised by Cpl Riche L. Margarse (Inf) PA, ROTC Division NCO, alongside ROTC Coordinator Roger T. Amson, MAEd, Assistant Professor IV.

Military History is essential in ROTC as it educates cadets on past campaigns, leadership, and strategies, fostering discipline, critical thinking, and decision-making. It prepares cadets for future leadership roles and emphasizes teamwork, sacrifice, and the evolution of military operations.

On 08 December 2024 at 0800H, the OMSC ROTC Unit (Murtha Campus) joined the 5𝙩𝙝 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙈 𝙋𝘼-𝙒𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 titled "Laang Kawal at Makabagong Bayani: Dugong Alay Mo, Sandigan ng Buhay Ko" at San Jose Town Plaza.

The activity included civilians, reserves, ROTC, the 68th Infantry Battalion, and the Red Cross. Also, the said activity was supervised by LTC ESTEBAN M SIADING JR (AGS) PA CDC Director.

IN PHOTOS: On 07 December 2024, OMSC Murtha Campus successfully held its 11th Training Day for both basic and advanced cadets at the Audio Visual Room (AVR).

The activity began at 1300H, starting with cadet organization, followed by classroom instruction on water survival and safety, led by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

[ 𝟏𝟎𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘 ]

IN PHOTOS: On 07 December 2024, the OMSC ROTC Unit at Murtha Campus held the MS-1 Midterm Examination at the OMSC Gymnasium.

The activity started at 0800H with cadets being organized and the area prepared. Attendance for basic cadets was taken from 0830H to 0900H, with ROTC officers and instructors overseeing the process.

At 0930H, the Midterm Examination for basic cadets began and ended at 1030H.

From 1100H to 1130H, cadets engaged in basic drill exercises, supervised by ROTC Division NCO Cpl Riche L. Margarse (Inf) PA and ROTC Coordinator Roger T. Amson, MAEd, Assistant Professor IV.

𝙊𝙈𝙎𝘾 𝙈𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾𝙐 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨

On November 23, 2024, the OMSC Murtha Campus ROTC Unit successfully held the Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC) CL-01-2024-2025 Welcome Reception Rites at the Occidental Mindoro State College-Labangan Campus.

During reception rites, Officers often test the Cadettes' physical and mental endurance; overcoming challenges fosters resilience and stronger commitment to their role in the ROTC. The event was led by the CDC Director, LTC ESTEBAN M SIADING JR (AGS) PA, as the keynote speaker. Alongside the supervision of the Training Staff and Cadet Officers.

Also, the event was monitored by the ROTC Coordinator,
Roger T. Amson, MAEd Assistant Professor IV, OMSC-Murtha Campus.
