Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷💐

Gossip 👂

Inside the lodge, there is no rank.
No title.
No ego.

Only Brothers—equal in voice, equal in duty.

We are given the floor to speak,
to disagree,
to challenge ideas—
not to destroy, but to strengthen.

Because a strong lodge is not built on silence…
it is built on honest voices spoken with respect.

But here’s the hard truth—

Some stay quiet during meetings…
yet become loud outside.

In corners, in chats, in whispers—
opinions are shared,
judgments are made,
and the lodge is slowly weakened… not by enemies,
but by its own.

Let me ask you, Brother—

When the time comes to speak,
do you stand and be heard?

Or do you wait…
and speak only where your voice cannot be questioned?

We are reminded at every opening:
“Act with prudence, zeal, and integrity…
regard the lodge as your family.”

Family does not tear each other down in secret.
Family corrects, speaks, and stands together—openly.

So reflect—

Are you strengthening the lodge…
or feeding it with gossip?

Are your words building unity…
or quietly planting division?

Because in the end,
your silence inside—
and your noise outside—
will reveal where you truly stand.

Brother… reflect. 🔗

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME?

When you first stood at the door of Odd Fellowship, you were not just entering a hall—you were stepping into a promise.

And when you were asked, “Why do you seek admission?”
Your answer came from a place of sincerity…

“To become better.”
“To serve others.”
“To belong to something meaningful.”

But now… pause for a moment.

After the degrees, after the handshakes, after the teachings—
what changed?

Has your purpose grown… or slowly faded?
Has your fire strengthened… or quietly dimmed?

The truth is—
The 3rd Degree is not a destination.
It is a responsibility.

A responsibility to live what you once declared.

Because being an Odd Fellow is not measured by:
✔️ Your presence in group chats
✔️ Your reactions to posts
✔️ Your shared quotes and symbols

It is measured by something deeper—

👉 The meetings you choose to attend, even when it’s inconvenient
👉 The ideas you offer to strengthen your lodge
👉 The quiet acts of service no one applauds
👉 The consistency of showing up—not online, but in real life

So ask yourself honestly:

What have I truly given to my lodge?
Not money. Not words. But impact.

When was the last time you wore your regalia—not just on your body, but in your actions?
When was the last time your principles were visible in how you treated a brother, a stranger, or your community?

When was the last time you chose duty over comfort?

Because the greatest danger is not forgetting the rituals—
It is forgetting the reason you began.

Today, reflect.

Are you still becoming the man you promised to be…
or just someone who once made that promise?

When was the last time?

" Anyone can become an Odd Fellow…
but only a few choose to live as a true one. "

Brethren,

Lent is a time to reflect, improve ourselves, and help others. While Odd Fellowship is not a religion, its values—Friendship, Love, and Truth—fit perfectly with this season.

In our daily lives, this means:
• Being patient and kind to others
• Helping those in need, even in simple ways
• Controlling our actions and choosing what is right
• Strengthening our brotherhood and unity

Being an Odd Fellow is not only inside the lodge—it is how we live every day. Through small acts of goodness, we show true character and purpose.

Let this season remind us to be better men, better brothers, and better servants to humanity.

In Friendship, Love, and Truth 🤝
