The continuation of 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary took place at the DDOSC- Maragusan Covered Court, on the afternoon of September 11, 2026 as Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel started with an intense Volleyball Game.
Four teams namely: Team Makakalikasan, Team Makabansa, Team Makatao, and Team Maka-Diyos competitively played the Volleyball Game, and although each one of them screamed for victory, the sportsmanship between them prevailed.
On the other hand, a battle of minds, strategies, and competitiveness as board games—Chess and Scrabble began at the School Library where each team also showcased their talent, from heavy silence as each player watched every move in Chess to lifting pieces of letters to create meaningful words in Scrabble.
After Volleyball, Chess, and Scrabble, each team also played Mobile Legends as well as a heated Basketball Game.
Overall, four teams showcased their talent in sports, E-sports, and board games in the afternoon event, despite the emerging intensity in the games, each team still showed unity and camaraderie with each other; this event did not just showcase intensive games, but was a way for Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel to give importance to wellness and togetherness as one DDOSC family.

What happens when a Friday meant for working from home becomes a morning of laughter, talent, and togetherness? On September 11, teaching and non-teaching personnel of the Davao de Oro State College–Maragusan Branch gathered at the Administration Building to open the month-long celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, turning an ordinary workday into a moment of unity.

The morning came alive as employees formed four groups and showcased their talents through singing and dancing. Traditional larong-lahi followed, bringing out teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie as colleagues connected beyond their usual roles.

As the celebration opened, its energy set the tone for the month ahead. More than a gathering, the occasion reflected the spirit of this year’s theme, “Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.” At the Maragusan Branch, public service is not merely a duty—it is a shared purpose carried with heart, upheld with honor, and expressed through excellence.
