6th STATE OF THE CITY'S CHiLDREN REPORT| Kabataang Kyusi, Tunay na Maipagmamalaki! ✊👥

Itinampok ng ating mahal na Mayor Joy Belmonte ang mga aktibidad, plataporma’t proyekto sa Lungsod ng Quezon para sa mga kabataan nito lamang ika-29 ng Nobyembre na may temang, “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence, Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines.”

Ito’y dinaluhan ng mga lider-estudyante sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa lungsod. Tunay ngang sa Lungsod Quezon, karapatan ng mga kabataan ay hindi nakaliligtaan at pinahahalagahan.

Gaya ng hangaring kay buti para sa mga bata, kaisa ang QCDFSSLG sa pagsulong ng mga programa para sa mga bata.

Muli, Isang maligayang buwan ng mga kabataan. Pagpalain!

Kabataang Kyusi, Tunay na Maipagmamalaki!

The Education Summit 2024 began with great enthusiasm at Ponciano Bernardo Elementary School, setting the stage for a day filled with significant discussions on the future of education.

The program featured a series of impactful presentations, starting with the opening remarks from the school head, Ms. Denise S. Sison, who welcomed participants and highlighted the summit's importance. This was followed by Schools Division Superintendent, Ms. Carleen S. Sedilla, CESO V, who presented "The Education Agenda," outlining a strategic vision for advancing educational excellence in Quezon City.

Also, the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Fredie V. Avendano, detailed the practical steps needed to achieve the summit's goals, providing actionable strategies for educators and leaders.

A highlight of the summit was the inspiring speech by Quezon City Administrator Mr. Michael Victor N. Alimurung, who spoke on “Inspiring Quezon City Learners,” emphasizing the vital role of education in unlocking students' potential.

The summit also included an overview of Program Elevate by Mr. Wilfredo Del Rosario and a presentation of the “QC LGU Education Agenda” by Ms. Adelina Sebastian, focusing on the local government's plans to enhance educational opportunities for all learners in Quezon City.

The day culminated with the much-anticipated launch of the "Kabataang QC Jingle" shown by Education Program Supervisor, Ms. Ederlina D. Balena, symbolizing the vibrant spirit of the city's youth.
