Kung marunong kang gumawa ng kamalian, dapat marunong ka rin tumanggap ng pagkakamali.

Ang disciplinary action sa loob ng Alpha Kappa Rho ay hindi para manliit, manakit, o sirain ang isang kapatid. Ito ay naroon upang itama ang maling asal, panatilihin ang disiplina, at ipagtanggol ang dangal ng kapatiran. Ang pagiging miyembro ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pagkakaibigan, kundi tungkol sa pananagutan, respeto, at pagsunod sa mga alituntunin.

Likas sa tao ang magkamali, ngunit hindi dapat pinapalampas ang paulit-ulit na paglabag, kawalan ng respeto, at pagsuway sa mga patakaran. Ang tunay na kapatiran ay hindi pagtatakip ng mali, kundi ang tapang na ituwid ang kapatid para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Ang disiplina ay hindi galit—ito ay anyo ng pagmamalasakit.

Ang pagtanggap sa disciplinary action ay tanda ng pagiging responsable, pagpapakumbaba, at kagustuhang magbago. Ipinapakita nito na nauunawaan ng isang kapatid ang bigat ng kanyang ginawa at handa siyang matuto mula rito. Ang pag-iwas sa pananagutan ay nagpapahina ng pagkatao, ngunit ang pagtanggap ng parusa ay nagpapalakas ng prinsipyo.

Ang Alpha Kappa Rho ay naninindigan sa kaayusan, respeto, at disiplina. Sa pamamagitan ng tamang pagpapatupad ng parusa, napapanatili ang mga halagang ito. Ang kapatid na marunong tumanggap ng pagkakamali ay tunay na nakauunawa sa kahulugan ng pagiging bahagi ng kapatiran.

Ang tunay na kapatiran ay nasusubok hindi sa kasiyahan, kundi sa pagtanggap ng disiplina.
