Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Community, we extend our warmest congratulations to the JHCSC Buswak Dance Ensemble for bringing pride and honor to the institution after securing 3rd Place in the ASEAN Dance Competition 2026 held during the ASEAN 59th Founding Anniversary Culminating Activity and Awarding Ceremony on September 18, 2026, at the WMSU Gymnasium.

The remarkable achievement of the Buswak Dance Ensemble highlights the groupโ€™s dedication to cultural preservation, artistic excellence, and commitment to representing JHCSC on a wider platform. Competing alongside other talented performers, the ensemble delivered a compelling presentation that showcased creativity, discipline, and the richness of Filipino culture through dance. J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) received recognition from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for its outstanding achievement in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026, securing the 88th spot globally under the Representative Research Project (C1) category. The recognition was conferred during the 2026 ASEAN Month Celebration Culminating Activity held on September 18, 2026, at the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) Gymnasium.

Representing JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, Dumingag Campus Director, received the plaque of appreciation from CHED in acknowledgment of the institutionโ€™s remarkable accomplishment in the international innovation rankings. The recognition highlights JHCSCโ€™s growing presence in global higher education through its commitment to research excellence, innovation-driven initiatives, and programs that generate meaningful contributions to communities.
