๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ก๐ฆ๐๐ข๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฆ โ The JHCSC Supreme Student Council (SSC) held its 1st Quarterly Meeting for the year on March 27, 2026 at the IT Building, Pagadian Extension Campus gathering student leaders from across the system to discuss key initiatives and plans for 2026.
The meeting was presided over by SSC President and Student Trustee, Hon. Benjie T. Jimenez, with guidance from SSC Adviser and Dean of Student Affairs and Support Services, Ms. Venus M. Avenido, RGC, MAEd. Attendees included SSC System-wide Officers, House of Senate members, Campus Executive Committee, School Mayors, and JFORCE Presidents, ensuring full representation of the student governance body.
During the session, the council presented and approved several resolutions, discussed amendments to the Collection Code, and reviewed the implementation of Project ATIMAN and Project PAHAYAG, both aimed at student welfare and community engagement. The officers also evaluated their own performance and discussed the implementation of attendance cards to ensure accountability. The meeting featured an Adviserโs Time, where Ms. Avenido shared guidance, insights, and reminders to promote transparency, responsibility, and service-oriented leadership among the officers. She also presented some proposed revisions in the student manual, which are still subject to review and approval by CHED.
President Jimenez emphasized the importance of collaboration and active participation from all sectors of the student body. The meeting concluded with concrete action steps for each project and policy amendment, setting a strong foundation for SSC initiatives in 2026.
