📢 ADVISORY: Back to Regular Office Working Hours

The City Government of San Pablo, through the Office of the City Human Resource Management Officer (CHRMO), has issued Memorandum No. 2026-046 dated May 18, 2026, regarding the return to regular office working hours.

🕗 Effective May 18, 2026, all offices of the City Government of San Pablo, including DLSP, will resume the regular work schedule of:

8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Monday to Friday

This follows the lifting of the four-day work week implemented by the Provincial Government of Laguna.

Please be guided accordingly and ensure strict compliance.

DLSP Summa Cum Laude Named One of UniFAST Natatanging Iskolar Awardees in CALABARZON

Warmest congratulations to Chryss Jhymm B. Calica, graduating BS Entrepreneurship student and Summa Cum Laude of Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo, for being recognized as one of the Forty Two (42) Awardees for the CALABARZON Region during the UniFAST Natatanging Iskolar Recognition Rites held at De La Salle Lipa on May 18, 2026.

Mr. Calica received the Certificate of Achievement Award in a ceremony led by Dr. Rogelio Galera Jr., CESO III, Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education CALABARZON, together with the Education Supervisors. He was the one who delivered an inspirational message for the entire awardees. He was personally accompanied by Dr. Preciosa D. Villacruel, LPT, College President.

Born with cerebral palsy, Mr. Calica moved the audience with his inspiring words: “I hope my story serves as proof that disability does not define a person’s future. With faith, perseverance, and the right support system, anything is possible.”

Indeed, his story is a testament to resilience, excellence, and unwavering determination. The entire DLSP community proudly celebrates this remarkable achievement and inspiration to all.

The Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo community proudly celebrates a remarkable victory as 𝐃𝐋𝐒𝐏 clinched the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 title in the 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 during this year’s YakapLawa Festival!

🏅 1st Place – DLSP
🏅 2nd Place – Bunot Lake
🏅 3rd Place – Palakpakin

DLSP proudly showed its full support for the celebration through the participation of various student organizations, performers, faculty members, and administrators. The DLSP Dance Company performed at the Main Stage in Brgy. Concepcion, part of Sampalok Lake, where National Artist Ryan Cayabyab also performed. DLSP Chorale members showcased their talents in open mic spots, while CTHM dancers performed along the boardwalk during the Fish Lantern Parade program, featuring their champion-winning Tinikling performance from DLSP’s National Arts Month celebration.

Students from NSTP, PATHFIT, ROTC, and CTHM also actively participated in the parade, while the artists of Bagong Sinag joined the Komiks Festival. Dr. Preciosa Villacruel, together with school heads and teaching personnel, also took part in the festivities in support of the event and the DLSP community.

Special recognition is also given to the people behind the preparation of DLSP’s winning giant fish lantern: Mr. Alvaro Dioquino, Jr., Director of the Culture and Arts Development Center; Mr. Neo Ulan, Adviser of the DLSP Chorale and DLSP Dance Company; Mr. Wilkester Pujanes, Co-Adviser of DLSP Chorale, and Mr. Angelo Alcaide, Artistic Director of the DLSP Dance Company, for their creativity, dedication, and leadership in the design and ex*****on of the giant fish lantern.

In line with the implementation of the 4-day work schedule arrangement, please be informed of the office schedule and learning modality of Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo for May 11–15, 2026.

Office operations from Monday to Thursday shall be from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Meanwhile, classes shall follow the Learning Continuity Plan implemented by the respective departments. No office transactions on Friday, May 15.

Inauguration of Academic Building 6 and Gender and Development Center Marks Milestone for Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo

On April 28, 2026, Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo (DLSP) celebrated a significant milestone with the ribbon-cutting and blessing of Academic Building 6, dedicated to the College of Accountancy and Entrepreneurship, alongside the inauguration of the Center for Gender Equality and Development. The event underscored the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and inclusive education.

This momentous event was graced by distinguished guests and university officials, including Chief of Staff, Mr. Raul Polinag, representing the City Mayor, and Hon. Arcadio “Najie” Gapangada, MNSA and Engr. Noel Tabo, Executive Asst. assigned in the City Engineering Office. The blessing of the facilities was officiated by Rev. Fr. John Mark Sedano, who led prayers for guidance and continued success in the university’s endeavors.

Leading the ceremony were College President Dr. Preciosa D. Villacruel, LPT, Dr. Randall B. Pasco, VPAA, Dr. Marc Lester F. Quintana, RN, VPRE and Mrs. Vivian E. Asacta, CPA, MBM, Dean of the College of Accountancy and Entrepreneurship. Also spearheading the activity was Mr. Mark Francis P. Donato, Director of the Center for Gender Equality and Development.

The newly inaugurated Academic Building 6 is envisioned to provide modern learning spaces that will enhance the academic experience of accountancy students. Meanwhile, the Center for Gender Equality and Development aims to promote inclusivity, awareness, and advocacy for gender-responsive programs within the university and the broader community.

This dual inauguration reflects DLSP’s dedication not only to academic growth but also to fostering a progressive and equitable educational environment.
