The Viewpoint will always stand with the truth and fight for the unheard as we continue to refuse letting reality be silenced.

On this Day of Valor, we take a moment to remember the strength of those who came before us, those who faced uncertainty, hardship, and sacrifice with unwavering courage. Their stories are not just written in history books, but in the freedom we experience today. They remind us that even in the most difficult times, the human spirit has the power to endure and rise.

May their bravery inspire us to live with the same sense of purpose and integrity. In our own quiet battles and everyday struggles, may we find the courage to stand firm, to choose what is right, and to keep moving forward. As we honor their legacy, let us also strive to become individuals who embody resilience, compassion, and a deep love for our country.

He is risen! ๐Ÿค

On this blessed Easter Sunday, we are reminded that even in the face of darkness, despair, and uncertainty, hope prevails and new life begins. The resurrection calls us to reflect on our own journeys, our struggles, our doubts, and the moments that have tested our faith. Yet, through it all, we are given the assurance that renewal is always possible.

May this sacred day inspire us to rise above our fears, to strengthen our faith, and to embrace a life filled with purpose, compassion, and grace. Let us carry His light within us and allow it to guide our actions and shape our hearts. As we celebrate His victory, may we also be moved to grow, to forgive, and to become better for ourselves and for others.

Together, let us walk forward with renewed hope, trusting that His resurrection is not only a promise of eternal life, but also a reminder that we, too, can rise and transform.

A day of stillness, where grief rests and hope quietly grows.

Black Saturday, also known as Sรกbado de Gloria, marks the time when Jesus rested in the tomb following His crucifixion. It is a solemn day of reflection, sorrow, and silent anticipation before the joy of the Resurrection. This day reminds us that in life, there are moments when we must pause when clarity has not yet come and hope feels far away. Black Saturday teaches us that faith is not only present in times of joy and fulfillment, but also in patiently waiting and trusting in Godโ€™s promises.

While the day is observed in quiet reflection, it concludes with the Easter Vigil in the evening, celebrating the return of light and the hopeful anticipation of Jesusโ€™ resurrection.

May this Black Saturday inspire us to remain steadfast in faith, patient in waiting, and hopeful in Godโ€™s perfect plan.

This sacred day commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who bore the weight of our sins and offered His life as the ultimate sacrifice for all humanity.

It is a solemn reminder that true love is not merely spoken, but shown through suffering, surrender, and selflessness. Good Friday invites us to stand beneath the cross in silence and awe, acknowledging the depth of a grace that redeems even our darkest moments.

As we welcome this day into our hearts and souls, we are called to reflect on our own brokenness, repent with sincerity, and receive the gift of mercy with humility. In a world that often avoids pain and seeks comfort, this day teaches us that transformation begins when we truly understand the cost of love. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Maundy Thursday calls us to remember a love that serves, sacrifices, and stays. โœ๏ธ

This sacred day commemorates the Last Supper, where Jesus shared bread and wine with His disciples and humbly washed their feet as a sign of servant leadership. It reminds us that true greatness is found not in power, but in compassion and selfless service. Maundy Thursday also marks the beginning of the Paschal Triduum, leading us into the solemn reflection of Christโ€™s passion, death, and resurrection. As we pause from our daily routines, we are invited to reflect on our own capacity to love, forgive, and serve others with sincerity. In a world often driven by ambition, this day challenges us to embody humility and grace in our actions. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ“ฟ

From San Pablo Colleges, may this Maundy Thursday inspire us to lead with humility, serve with love, and live with purpose. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

LITERARY | Paboritong Musika

โ€˜Who do we look for when the cheering fades?

Every second week of February, a three-day celebration is expected at the heart of San Pablo Colleges. To honor the excellence of the late Judge Paulo de Gala Macasaet. The event, known as โ€œPGM,โ€ brings together students from Grade School to College and perform short dance routines. โ€” A tradition deep rooted in the institutionโ€™s culture.

As the 79th PGM commenced, the performers appeared with bright and vivid flocks of hula-hoop colorsโ€”pink and blueโ€”filled the seemingly endless quadrangle of San Pablo Colleges as Grade School learners moved in lively formation. Their small figures were attuned to the loud and energetic Original Pinoy Music (OPM) they had practiced for long hours and endless days, each step and jive is a quiet testament of their patience and perseverance.

Sweat bundled up their temples, breaths still as rigid even after the performance. Their eyes lingered among the crowd in hopes to find a familiar presence and when they did, their shoulders softened and a glimmer of comfort painted their young and delicate features. With both hands waving back and forth and lips parted in a smile. Beneath the scorching heat of the
sun, a sense of relief settled over them as if those steady gazes had washed away the exhaustion weighing down their small figure.

The rapid beat of their heart gradually quieted while the scenery and cheers grew vivid. A quiet pride nestled in their tiny chest as soon as the applause rose high above the vast sea of
strangers. In that exact fleeting moment, under all the noise and heat, something lasting was formed โ€” a core memory engraved into the innocent mind of a child.
