A little appreciation for someone who’s always been there for us.

Last October 7, we got the chance to celebrate Teachers’ Day with our adviser, Ma’am Clarissa Gregana! 🎁🌷

Thank you, Ma’am, for always guiding us, checking on us, and being there not just as our adviser, but also as someone we can approach whenever we need help. We may not always say it, but we truly appreciate all the things you do for our class. 🫢

This little gift is just one of the ways we wanted to say thank you for your patience, guidance, and for being part of our journey as future educators.

Happy Teachers’ Day, Ma’am Gregana! πŸ‘©β€πŸ«πŸŒ·

Last October 7, we took a moment to show our appreciation to our amazing Science Faculty through a simple gift-giving activity for Teachers’ Day. 🎁

It may be just a small gift, but behind every one of them is a big thank you for all the lessons, patience, effort, and time you continue to give to us.

To our Science Faculty, thank you for teaching us beyond what’s written in our modules and PowerPoints. Thank you for guiding us as students and future educators, and for being part of our journey in becoming the teachers we hope to be someday. πŸ“šπŸ’™

Happy Teachers’ Day to our wonderful Science Faculty! πŸ₯³
We appreciate you, today and always! 🫢

Did you know that plants existed around 150 million years before seeds? 🌱

Long before plants produced seeds, the earliest plants reproduced using tiny, single-celled spores. These early plants were similar to modern mosses and relied on spores to reproduce. It took millions of years before seeds evolved and became an important way for plants to reproduce and spread. 🌿

This shows just how fascinating plant evolution is! From simple spore-producing plants to the wide variety of seed-producing plants we see today, plants have undergone an incredible journey through millions of years of evolution.

Nature has a long history, and sometimes the simplest beginnings lead to the most amazing changes. Stay curious, keep learning, and never stop asking β€œWhy?”

A special day for two special people in our Science 2A family!

Science 2A came together to celebrate the birthdays of our beloved Sir Vincent Aliazas and our amazing President, Lea May Urriza! πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰ It was a celebration filled with laughter, good food, and memorable moments shared with the whole class.

A huge thank you to Sir Vincent and Pres Lea May for generously sponsoring this celebration and for sharing your special day with the entire Science 2A family! Your kindness and thoughtfulness truly made the celebration extra special. πŸ’™πŸ«Ά

To our celebrants, may this new chapter bring you more happiness, success, and unforgettable memories. Keep inspiring and making a difference in your own ways! πŸŽ‚βœ¨

Did you know that a yo-yo can work even in space?

In 2012, NASA astronaut Don Pettit demonstrated several yo-yo tricks aboard the International Space Station, showing that this simple toy can still work in microgravity! Unlike on Earth, where gravity plays a major role in its motion, a yo-yo in space relies on the conservation of angular momentum to keep spinning. πŸͺ€

This shows that even in the absence of the usual effects of gravity, the laws of physics still apply! Something as simple as a yo-yo can help us understand fascinating concepts in space and motion.

Space is full of surprises, and even ordinary objects can teach us extraordinary things. Stay curious, keep learning, and never stop asking β€œWhy?”

Did you know that there are β€œearthquakes” in the sky? ☁️

Mysterious, loud booming sounds known as β€œskyquakes” have been reported coming from the atmosphere, and scientists still don’t have one clear explanation for what causes them.

These strange sounds can sometimes seem like a huge explosion or a distant boom, making them one of the many unexplained phenomena that continue to spark curiosity and scientific investigation.

The sky may be quiet most of the time, but there are still many mysteries above us waiting to be understood! Stay curious, keep learning, and never stop asking β€œWhy?”

Did you know that water can stay liquid even below 0Β°C?

It sounds impossible, but pure water can actually remain in its liquid state below its normal freezing point when there are no dust particles or impurities for ice crystals to form. This fascinating phenomenon is called supercooling! πŸ§ͺπŸ”¬

But here's the cool part: once the supercooled water is disturbed, it can instantly freeze into ice! 🧊✨ This shows us that even something as ordinary as water can behave in surprising ways under the right conditions.

Science is full of unexpected phenomena! Stay curious, keep learning, and never stop asking β€œWhy?”

The energy was truly electric as the College of Teacher Education (CTE) gathered for "ALAB SINAG 2026"! It was a day filled with passion, commitment, and new beginnings as we officially welcomed our vibrant first-year BSEd Science students to their new academic home. πŸ§ͺ✨

The event also marked a historic moment for our organization as "The Nuclei"β€”the dynamic officers and student leaders of SciNaticsβ€”officially took their oath of commitment. Just like the nucleus serves as the core of every cell, driving energy and life, our student leaders are ready to serve as the heart and center of innovation, unit, and excellence for the A.Y. 2026–2027! βš›οΈπŸ’™

To our freshies: Welcome to SciNatics! May your passion for science burn bright as you embark on this incredible journey. Together with The Nuclei, let’s make this academic year truly groundbreaking! πŸš€
