𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 | 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕

The College of Physical Therapy recently underwent its 𝑰𝑺𝑶 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒕 on July 29, 2026—another step in our continuing commitment to quality education, transparency, accountability, and responsive academic services.

The audit provided an opportunity to recognize what we are doing well, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen our systems and practices. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬.

EVENT RECAP | PT Enhancement Mentoring Session

As part of the College of Physical Therapy's initiatives to strengthen clinical internship preparation and promote long-term board examination readiness, the department conducted this Academic Year's first PT Enhancement Mentoring Session. The session served as an inspirational and motivational activity aimed at encouraging students to begin preparing early for the clinical demands of the BSPT program while establishing strong foundations for future licensure.

The session featured three alumni from the Batch of 2025, who shared their experiences during their PT Enhancement classes, clinical internship, and board examination preparation. They emphasized how developing a solid foundation in basic sciences, consistently practicing clinical reasoning, actively participating in laboratory activities, and regularly answering board-type questions helped them perform confidently during their clinical internship. The alumni also highlighted the importance of professionalism, effective communication, time management, and maximizing every patient encounter as valuable learning opportunities.

The session concluded with an interactive open forum where students sought advice on internship expectations, clinical preparation, effective study techniques, and maintaining motivation throughout the BSPT program. The activity provided valuable guidance and inspiration, reinforcing the department's commitment to producing future physical therapists who are clinically competent, professionally prepared, and equipped for successful internship experiences while building the knowledge and confidence needed for the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination.
