As the palm fronds wave and the Lenten season reaches its solemn peak, the ๐‘๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฌ๐š๐ง ๐ง๐  ๐‹๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐  ๐’๐š๐ง ๐๐š๐›๐ฅ๐จ joins the community in commemorating the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

For us in Rotaract, this day is more than just a tradition; ๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ž, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ. Just as the crowd welcomed a leader who came to serve rather than be served, we are called to reflect on our own journey of Service Above Self.

Today, December 12, marks the close of the official 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), and the Rotaract Club of PLSP Prime wants to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, listened, and stood in solidarity with us.

For the past three weeks, starting November 25, our club has proudly championed this vital cause, recognizing that achieving peace and prosperity in our community fundamentally relies on ensuring the safety, dignity, and respect of every woman and child.

We wore the color Orange not just as a trend, but as a visible symbol of our collective aspiration for a brighter, violence-free future for all. Our participation in this national movement goes beyond checking a box; it reaffirms our pledge to service and our belief that violence has no place in a just society.

We acknowledge that while the 18-day campaign has concluded, the critical work of challenging harmful norms, supporting survivors, and building truly safe environments continues year-round. We urge our fellow students, the PLSP community, and all our partners to carry this commitment forward. Let us maintain the momentum we built, remain vigilant, and continue to use our voices and actions to ensure that every woman and child can live free from fear and abuse.
