We began the morning with a moving Candle Lighting Ceremony and the official Pinning Ceremony, honoring our commitment to servant-leadership. The excitement continued into the afternoon with energetic team-building activities that strengthened our bonds.

In September 23, 2026, the Mechanical Engineering Society (MES) of Laguna State Polytechnic University - Santa Cruz Capus was officially accredited by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) as a student organization for the Academic Year 2026-2027 during the 2026 Club Launching.

This is a recognition that symbolizes the responsibility and passion of the organization to serve the community and uphold its valuesโ€”practicing integrity, excellence, and leadership every step of the way. This will remain an honor to the Mechanical Engineering Society of LSPU-SCC to continue fostering an inclusive learning environment, not only for the Mechanical Engineering department, but also for the whole LSPU-SCC community.

Title: Framing the Unseen

Integrity, leadership, and service cannot exist alone.

Integrity without service remains a value unexpressed. Leadership without integrity becomes authority without trust. And service without purpose becomes effort without direction.

Yet these values are not always found in grand gestures or visible positions. Sometimes, they are found in the hands of those simply doing their work, taking responsibility for what is placed before them and choosing to do it right, even without recognition.

The worker in this frame may not be the one giving orders, but his actions still speak. In the care he gives to his work is integrity. In the example he sets through his actions is leadership. And the purpose behind what he does is service. And when that work is done not only for oneself, but for the people and purpose it serves, it becomes something greater.

Because the hands that build excellence are not always the hands that receive recognition. Some remain outside the frame.
