LSSC President Elected Vice Governor for North Luzon in the Association of Law Students of the Philippines

Dr. Jaypee Abenoja, incumbent President of the Law Student Supreme Council (LSSC) of NC College of Law, has been elected Vice Governor for North Luzon of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP).

The election was held during the 36th LEB-ALSP National Convention, conducted in partnership with the Legal Education Board (LEB), at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel in Quezon City on June 26–27, 2026.

Carrying the theme “Reach for the Stars,” the 2026 LEB-ALSP National Convention brought together law student leaders and aspiring legal professionals from across the country for leadership development, meaningful engagement, academic exchange, and professional growth beyond the classroom.

Abenoja’s election is expected to strengthen NC College of Law’s partnership with ALSP, creating greater opportunities for collaboration, networking, and student development. Through this representation, NC Law students are poised to gain wider access to national programs, leadership initiatives, and professional networks within the country’s premier organization of law students.

LSSC Holds “Tatag ng Isipan, Tibay ng Adbokasya” Mental Health Webinar

The Law Students’ Supreme Council (LSSC) successfully conducted the Mental Health Awareness Webinar entitled “Tatag ng Isipan, Tibay ng Adbokasya” for Northeastern College College of Law students on June 3, 2026.

The webinar featured Ms. Jerica Inna A. Lechuga, a Clinical Psychologist, who shared valuable insights on recognizing common psychological and mental health concerns that law students may encounter. She also discussed practical strategies for managing these challenges and emphasized the importance of seeking professional help when necessary.

The activity was attended by nearly 80 law students, reflecting the NCLaw community’s commitment to promoting mental wellness, resilience, and holistic development among future members of the legal profession.

“IBP Isabela and LSSC Forged Partnership for an Incoming IBP Event”

The Northeastern College – College of Law Law Students’ Supreme Council (LSSC), headed by Dr. Jaypee Abenoja, LSSC President, together with Mr. Milford Baccac, JD Class Representative, recently met with Atty. Kevin G. Villamor, Vice President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Isabela Chapter, to formally forge a partnership for the successful conduct of the upcoming IBP Isabela Recognition and Testimonial Rites 2026 scheduled on May 23, 2026 at Casa Jardin by Zen.

This partnership provides law students with valuable opportunities for professional exposure, engagement, and growth within the legal community. The NC Law LSSC sincerely thanks the IBP Isabela Chapter for this meaningful collaboration in promoting legal excellence and leadership among future lawyers.
