Last May 7, 2026, the Internship Culmination for the 3rd and 4th year student interns was successfully held, marking the meaningful conclusion of a journey filled with learning, growth, perseverance, and unforgettable experiences. The event served as a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the student interns throughout their internship training.

From being trainees who were eager to learn to becoming more confident, skilled, and career-ready individuals, the internship experience became an important stepping stone in their professional development. Along the way, the student interns gained valuable knowledge, enhanced their abilities, and learned lessons that will guide them in their future careers.

The success of this journey would not have been possible without the guidance and unwavering support of the advisers, supervisors, and mentors who generously shared their time, wisdom, patience, and encouragement.

As this chapter officially comes to a close, the 3rd and 4th year student interns proudly carry with them the experiences, friendships, and memories that have shaped them into better and more prepared future professionals.

Bridging knowledge and innovation, the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 of 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 was a remarkable success, bringing together aspiring researchers in a day filled with learning, collaboration, and excellence.

With the theme “𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” the event highlighted the creativity and dedication of BSOA students through their research and project proposal presentations.

A Research Congress embodies“𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸” by transforming students from passive learners into active researchers, and it reflects “where tradition meets transformation” by combining fundamental administrative skills with innovative, data-driven solutions for modern workplaces.

The success of this congress was made possible through the guidance and support of our distinguished speakers, 𝙊𝙄𝘾 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙧. 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡 𝘾. 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙤 , 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙤 𝙈. Your leadership and commitment to academic excellence truly inspired everyone present.

‎Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) of Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST) proved its academic and professional prowess that led them victorious at the recently concluded 16th Council of Management Educators and Professionals in the Philippines (COMEPP) MINDANAO Conference, held on February 26 to 27, 2026 at Aces Polytechnic College, Panabo City.

‎Competing against 13 participating schools from across Mindanao, the STCAST delegation proved to be a formidable force. Out of five competitive categories prepared by COMEPP-Mindanao, STCAST secured three major championship titles, firmly cementing the school’s reputation for excellence in research and innovation.
‎
‎The impossible became possible through the collaborative efforts and strategic guidance of the BSOA faculty. The group’s success was fueled by the mentorship of Research Coaches: BSOA Program Head, Helaria B. Carmona, DBM, & John Mark B. Lazaro, MAEd.
‎
‎Dr. Carmona also provided vital coaching for the Business Pitch category, while Orlan Tabuada Jr. served as the Video Advertisement Coach. The team also owed its feat to the unwavering and constant support of instructors Gilda O. Naret, MBM, MPA, and Rajah Cordero, MM. Especially to the STCAST OIC - Office of the College President, Dr. Hazel C. Montepio, EdD.

‎The highlight of the said conference was STCAST's sweeping success in the research categories. Taking home the top awards in the following categories:
‎Trisha Mae E. Silva earned gold in the Research Oral Presentation, for her study entitled, "System Quality, Service Quality, and Information Clarity: A Structural Equation Model on Service Convenience of a Digital Ordering System in a Fast-Food Chain."
‎
‎Meanwhile, Melven E. Gaviola reached gold in the Research Poster Presentation, entitled, “Digital Financial Literacy, Budget Monitoring Practices, and Social Influence: A Structural Equation Model on Electronic Wallet Usage on Spending Habits of College Students.”.
‎
‎The Business Pitch Duo, Elaine Grace S. Poliquit and Samantha Rose O. Rosco impressed the panel, and secured gold during their Business Pitch about BanaBombs.
‎
‎Beyond the major titles, the STCAST-BSOA delegation demonstrated a strong presence across multiple competitive fields. In the Video Advertisement category, the team composed of Christian M. Deadio, Joanna M. Castro, Adrian B. Dinolan, and Francine Novy Lagos represented the institution with their history-filled Video Ad entry. Sheena Mae Evangelio participated in the Extended Abstract category, presenting a study about “The Mediating Effect of the Employees Productivity on the Relationship Between Financial Management Practices and Operational Efficiency among Local Entrepreneurs.”
