The Office of External Affairs, led by Director Shecky Mae R. Villavert, recently reached another milestone by conducting an Exit Conference for our Student Trainees from College of Industrial Technology (CIT) and College of Management and Governance (CMG) who successfully completed their 600-hour internship at C&U Philippines.

This exit interview is a vital final step in their training, designed to help students look back at their accomplishments, share field insights, and measure their overall readiness for employment.

Following this, the office also conducted a Pre-Deployment Orientation for the newly hired batch of graduates and alumni who qualified during the Onsite Interview last June 4.

The Office of External Affairs remains committed to driving excellence and enhancing the global employability of our graduates.

Today, we celebrate not just a colleague, but a true warrior.

Your courage in facing breast cancer with unwavering strength and determination is nothing short of inspiring. Despite the challenges, you chose to rise each day with grace, continuing to serve, support, and extend your helping hand to everyone in the External Affairs Office. That kind of resilience is rare, and it speaks volumes about your character.
You remind us that strength is not just about enduring hardships, but about showing up with a kind heart even in the midst of your own battles. Your dedication to your work and your willingness to help others, even during such a difficult time, truly reflect your passion and selflessness.
We are incredibly proud of you, deeply inspired by you, and truly grateful to have you as part of our Unit.
There will be good days and bad days ahead, rest assured we will be always here for you. May your journey continue to be filled with healing, hope, and countless victories.

Know that you are not just surviving - you are triumphing. And for that, we honor you today. πŸ’–

Behind every β€œwarrior” narrative is a woman who simply chooses to get up, keep going, and pour into othersβ€”even when her own cup is being tested. πŸŽ—

Meet 𝐌𝐬. π€ππ¨π«πž π“πšπ₯𝐒𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐬, Administrative Aide III of the External Affairs Unit. For 23 years, she has dedicated her skills, commitment, and heart to serving the universityβ€”a true Unsung Heroine.

Navigating cancer is a mountain few can imagine climbing, yet she continues to be a pillar for those around her. Her resilience isn’t just about surviving; it’s reflected in how she continues to light the way for others, even in her most trying times.

To her, an empowered woman is someone who is aware of her capabilities, faces challenges head-on, and strives to growβ€”rather than being held back by fear or stereotypes.

Today, we celebrate her strength, her vulnerability, and the incredible woman that she is. Her story is an inspiration to every β€”to never be ashamed of a scar, for it simply means you are stronger than whatever tried to hurt you. Keep fighting, keep shining, and keep living. 🌸
