To all UA Criminology students, here's a look at what's coming up for the UACS Election AY 2026โ€“2027!
The University of Antique Criminology Society (UACS) is now preparing for its ๐’๐’๐’๐’Š๐’๐’† ๐’†๐’๐’†๐’„๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ of officers for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027. This election aims to strengthen unity, camaraderie, and active participation among Criminology students while promoting the continuous development of the Criminology Program through involvement in university and community activities, as stated in Article II, Section II of the UACS Organization Bylaws, amended on July 17, 2020.
In accordance with the Student Organization Bylaws of the University of Antique, Section II โ€“ Election 2(2), all officers shall be elected by majority vote and will serve a one-year term. The President, however, shall be appointed by the University Advisor and Co-Advisor with the approval of all full-time Criminology faculty members. On August 17, 2026, the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) officially welcomed its incoming students from the BS Criminology (BSCRIM) and BS Industrial Security Management (BS ISM) programs during an orientation held at Tiripunan Hall.

The afternoon session focused on familiarizing new students with the various student organizations, councils, and groups within the college. It served as a platform for them to learn about the communities available to them, as well as the ways they can get involved, take on leadership roles, and contribute meaningfully throughout their academic years.

A key moment of the event was the unveiling of the CIU Officers of Class Pagkaisa 2026, along with their assigned ranks. The officers were unaware of their specific positions prior to the ceremonyโ€”the announcements were made live, creating a sense of surprise and excitement that made the occasion particularly memorable.

Congratulations to all incoming CCJE students! May this milestone mark the start of a rewarding journey defined by personal growth, meaningful learning, lasting friendships, and opportunities to positively impact the CCJE community.

Well done also to the newly introduced CIU Officers of Class Pagkaisa 2026 and the ISU Officers. May you lead with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility as you serve your peers.
