We are pleased to inform everyone that office operations at Negros Maritime College Foundation Inc. have resumed today, July 10 and our campus is now open for business.

Please be advised, however, that face-to-face classes remain suspended in accordance with Executive Order No. 48.1 issued by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental.

Students are advised to continue attending their scheduled online classes and to monitor the official NMCFI page for further updates.

Please be informed that the Provincial Governor of Negros Oriental has issued Executive Order No. 48.1, extending the suspension of face-to-face classes to tomorrow, July 10.

Online classes shall continue during the period of suspension, subject to the instructions of the respective instructors.

Face-to-face classes will resume once the Executive Order is lifted, unless a subsequent order is issued extending the suspension.

Please continue to monitor the official NMCFI page for further updates.

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘:

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 48 issued by the Provincial Governor of Negros Oriental, classes are suspended tomorrow, July 9, due to the forecasted adverse weather conditions brought about by Super Typhoon Inday (international name: Bavi).

Accordingly, all face-to-face classes and office operations at Negros Maritime College Foundation Inc. are suspended to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and personnel.

Online classes shall be conducted during the suspension, subject to the instructions of the respective instructors.
Face-to-face classes and regular office operations will resume once the Provincial Government lifts the Executive Order, unless a subsequent order is issued extending the suspension.

This year’s theme, “Carrying world trade. Carrying the risks,” reminds us that while seafarers play an essential role in keeping global trade moving, their work often comes with great challenges, risks, and sacrifices.

Please be informed that there will be no classes and office operations on June 11 and 12, 2026.

📌 June 11 (Thursday)
Classes and office operations are suspended as all faculty and staff will be attending the school's Annual Graduation Ceremonies.

📌 June 12 (Friday)
No classes and office operations in observance of Philippine Independence Day, a regular holiday.

Please also be advised that the Final Examination for Summer Classes will be conducted on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Heartfelt thanks to Atty. Ricky G. Ty, VP-Legal, and the Archipelago staff for sharing their time with us yesterday as we discussed the future memorandum of agreement (MOA) for our students’ apprenticeship.

This partnership will provide valuable training opportunities that strengthen the skills of our apprentices, while fostering a mutual benefit through collaboration with Archipelago Philippine Ferries Corporation’s mission to connect the Philippine islands with safe, fast, and convenient ferry transport.
