📢 CORRECTION | CSG ELECTION 2026–2027

The Commission on Elections would like to issue a correction regarding the previously released vote tally for the position of Auditor.

After conducting a rechecking and verification of the valid ballots, we would like to clarify that Baysa, Michaella (INDEPENDENT) received 1,221 valid votes, while Arboiz, Eunice (SPARK) received 1,216 valid votes.

We sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by the previous tally and any misunderstanding it may have brought. The discrepancy was identified during our verification process, and the figures have now been reviewed and corrected accordingly.

As the submission of votes are closed by 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝟭𝟭:𝟱𝟵𝗣𝗠, a 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟯,𝟭𝟯𝟰 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 have been recorded. 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: Abstain votes are included in the total for each position. This is the final tally of votes after the voting link was closed. Out of the 3,134 ballots in the final response file, 𝟯𝟲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗗 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱.
The 18 duplicated student numbers each appeared exactly twice. All 36 associated ballots were excluded from the valid tally, leaving 𝟯,𝟬𝟵𝟴 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀.

The votes cast by our student body are now being carefully verified, tallied, and recorded to ensure an accurate, transparent, and credible election process.

We ask everyone to remain patient as the canvassing proceeds. Every vote matters, and every vote will be counted.
