The MSU-MCSE ROTC Unit extends its heartfelt birthday greetings to our former Corps Commander, PVT Geraldine C Caspis PA (Res), and former S2, PVT Kristine Jewel D Decierdo PA (Res), now our Graduate Military Assistant.

4th TRAINING DAY


On 27 September 2026. Mindanao State University- Main Campus Sindangan Extension ROTC Unit successfully conducted its fourth training day, at the MSU-MCSE Court, Misok, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

The day began with the drill exercises, followed by the first classroom instruction on Cyber Security Awareness, facilitated by SSG Juniper M Bayawa PA (Res). The discussion provided the cadets with important knowledge about staying safe in the digital world, being responsible online users, and protecting personal information from potential cyber threats.

The second classroom instruction focused on The Flag Heraldic facilitated by SGT Christine Mae M Casoco PA (Res). The session emphasized the importance of respecting and honoring the Philippine flag, as well as understanding the proper practices and responsibilities associated with it.

The training was also made possible through the presence and assistance SSG Virgilio Gerasol (Inf) PA.

Despite the rainy weather, the training continued with determination and discipline. The rain may have challenged the cadets, but it did not stop them from learning and fulfilling their responsibilities. Through perseverance and commitment, the training was successfully completed. Another training day may have come to an end, but every lesson, challenge, and experience becomes another step toward becoming more disciplined, responsible, and capable individuals.

THIRD TRAINING DAY

On 20 September 2026. The Mindanao State University–Main Campus Sindangan Extension ROTC Unit successfully conducted its third (3rd) training day at MSU-MCSE, Misok, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

The afternoon training began with the cadets forming up for attendance checking, followed by drill exercises.

Under the leadership of COL MANDY T LIBERTINO ART (GSC) PA Commandant of the MSU-MCSE ROTC. The drills focused on discipline, coordination, proper bearing, and teamwork, strengthening the cadets’ ability to work together as one unit.

After the drills, the cadets proceed to their classroom instruction. The first lesson, Personal Hygiene and Sanitation, was discussed by Sgt Mhel Jay Calago PA (Res) Tactical NCO. The discussion emphasized the importance of proper personal hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation in maintaining health, discipline, and readiness.

This was followed by a discussion on Followership, facilitated by Pvt Kristine Jewel D Decierdo PA (Res). The lesson emphasized the importance of discipline, responsibility, respect for authority, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions effectively. The cadets were reminded that good followership is an essential foundation for becoming responsible and effective leaders.

Through both physical training and classroom instruction, the cadets continued to develop their discipline, knowledge, character, and sense of responsibility. The third training day was another meaningful and productive step in their journey toward becoming disciplined, responsible, and capable ROTC cadets.
