Central Philippines State University – Sipalay Campus Successfully Complies with CHED Monitoring Requirements

The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) – Sipalay Campus successfully complied with all required standards during the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) monitoring conducted on April 8, 2026.

The CHED–Negros Island Region (NIR) team carried out a comprehensive evaluation of the campus’s three existing academic programs across its colleges, namely: the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management under the College of Hospitality Management; the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science under the College of Teacher Education; and the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness under the College of Agriculture and Forestry.

All programs effectively prepared and presented the necessary documents and requirements for the monitoring. The evaluation also included a thorough assessment of faculty qualifications, as well as campus facilities such as classrooms and laboratories, all of which met the prescribed standards.

This achievement was made possible through the strong leadership of the Campus Administrator, Dr. Ervin F. Ferraris, in collaboration with the dedicated program heads: Ms. Reymie M. Grijaldo of the College of Hospitality Management, Sir Regie G. Reyes of the College of Teacher Education, and Sir Jeonilo B. Orbigoso of the College of Agriculture and Forestry.

This accomplishment reflects the institution’s continued commitment to delivering quality education and its dedication to serving its students, stakeholders, and the wider community.
