On July 30, 2025, the Bureau of Fire Protection (𝗕𝗙𝗣) conducted a comprehensive fire safety inspection at 𝗖𝗕𝗦𝗨𝗔 - 𝗦𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, reaffirming the University's dedication to ensuring a safe, compliant, and disaster-resilient learning environment.

This proactive initiative ensures that campus facilities meet national fire safety standards and emphasizes the importance of awareness, prevention, and emergency preparedness. 🧯📋

On June 26, 2025, CBSUA-Sipocot officially held the Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony of its latest academic infrastructure: the 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿-𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿.

This visionary project reflects the University’s long-term commitment to environmental education, innovation, and the sustainable use of natural resources. Once completed, the center will serve as a hub for research, field training, and hands-on learning for students pursuing Agroforestry and Environmental Science — two vital disciplines that align with the ecological needs and agricultural strengths of the region.

The ceremony was attended by SUC President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, guest of honor Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, Campus Administrator Prof. Rowel M. Castuera, and key university officials and stakeholders. Following the traditional blessing of facilities and the symbolic capsule laying, speeches were delivered to inspire and affirm the university’s direction toward green infrastructure and academic growth.

This is more than a building — it's a legacy of sustainability, knowledge, and hope for future generations. 🌱

On November 26, 2024, the IPDO and PPD teams warmly welcomed the DPWH and Golden Tiller Construction and Supply as they held an ocular inspection and presented the Notice of Award for the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝘆’𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴) - 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭.

This collaboration is a significant step that aligns with the DPWH-CHED Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 01, series of 2024, with the subject: "Guidelines on the Implementation of FY 2024 General Appropriations Act Special Provision No. 5 on State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) Infrastructure Projects.".

With this project underway, CBSUA Sipocot is gearing up to provide modern, innovative spaces for students and faculty alike, and to enhance our campus infrastructure as well. 🏗️✨

On November 25, 2024, Arch. Ryan presented the initial floor plans and perspective views for the highly anticipated Construction of 3-Storey Solar-Powered Agroforestry & Environmental Science Education Center to the team. This innovative project aims to create a sustainable hub for environmental education, blending cutting-edge design with eco-friendly solutions. 🌍🌞🌿

Alongside this, plans for the Rehabilitation of the Old Industrial Technology Building were unveiled, breathing new life into its existing structure while incorporating modern sustainable features. ♻️

On November 21, 2024, the Campus Administrator, PPD Coordinator, Planning Coordinator, and the Planning Team met to discuss the Priority 2025 Capital Outlay Projects. The focus was on identifying and prioritizing essential infrastructure improvements to enhance campus facilities, address student needs, and foster academic growth. These projects are vital for creating a more sustainable and vibrant future for both the university and its surrounding community. Additionally, the 2025 Capital Outlay Priority Projects will lay the foundation for continued growth, development, and a brighter future for all.

Last November 4, 2024, the discussion focused on ensuring compliance with LUDIP (Land Use and Development Implementation Plan) standards, with a primary emphasis on reviewing and refining the campus' Master Sewer & Drainage Layout Plan, Master Water Distribution Layout Plan, Master Electrical Power Distribution Layout Plan, and Master Internet & Communication Network Layout Plan.
Together with the Campus Administrator, the IPD and PPD deliberated key strategies for optimizing infrastructure design to meet regulatory requirements, addressing potential challenges—such as high-risk drainage areas requiring additional infrastructure and the feasibility of incorporating renewable energy sources—and ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of the campus utilities. The goal is to align the drainage and power systems with best practices and regulatory norms, providing long-term resilience and operational effectiveness. The meeting concluded with clear action steps to move the campus' infrastructure plans forward while ensuring LUDIP compliance.

The Local ManCom meeting, directed by Prof. Rowel M. Castuera, the Campus Administrator, took place on November 5, 2024 in the Planning Office. It brought together the Deans of various colleges, the Planning Team, the Budget Officer, and the Campus Secretary to address key institutional matters. The meeting focused on aligning strategic goals, discussing the university performance targets for FY 2024, evaluating LUDIP findings, reviewing budget allocations, and planning for upcoming academic and infrastructure projects. Collaborative input from all departments ensured a unified approach to resource distribution and long-term planning, aiming to enhance academic programs and campus development. The session underscored the importance of efficient coordination for the successful implementation of the institution’s initiatives.
