During the 1st Regular Meeting | A.Y. 2026โ2027
The Supreme Student Council of CBSUA Sipocot officially conducted its 1st Regular Meeting for Academic Year 2026โ2027, which also marked an important moment in the continuity of student leadership.
Following the formal resignation of Former SSC President Jayvee Frondozo, the Council took the necessary steps to ensure that the leadership of the Supreme Student Council would continue without unnecessary disruption or vacancy, in accordance with the provisions of the SSC Constitution and By-Laws.
During the meeting, the Senate President formally proclaimed Jelian Antonette Ortiz as the new President of the Supreme Student Council for A.Y. 2026โ2027.

The proclamation signifies not only a transition in leadership, but also the Councilโs continued commitment to fulfilling its responsibility to the student body. With a new president comes a renewed opportunity to strengthen coordination within the Council, listen to the concerns of the students, and work together toward meaningful programs and initiatives for the CBSUA community.
The 1st Regular Meeting also served as a venue for discussing the transition of responsibilities, the direction of the Council, upcoming programs and activities, and the plans of the administration moving forward.
As this new chapter begins, we recognize that leadership is not simply about holding a position. It is about accepting responsibility, listening to the students, working with the Council, and remaining committed to serving even when the work becomes difficult.
We therefore ask for the continued support, cooperation, and understanding of all STATEANS as the Supreme Student Council moves forward under its new leadership.
May this transition remind us that the work of student governance continues beyond individuals and positions. It is a shared responsibility rooted in service, accountability, unity, transparency, and genuine concern for the student body.
Together, let us continue to build a Council that does not only speak for the students, but works with them and serves alongside them.
