Congratulations to our Psychology Juniors on a job well done during their Final Defense for Field Methods in Psychology!

For the past semester, these students dove deep into the world of Qualitative Research. From crafting interview guide questions, interviews, to transcribing hours of audio and agonizing over thematic analysis—they have officially crossed the finish line.

This defense marks the culmination of their hard work in understanding human behavior beyond the numbers. You have proven that stories matter and lived experiences count.

Our Psychology seniors recently came together for a post-internship group dynamics to share their practicum experiences, skills gained, and lessons learned across three key settings:
-Educational, where they applied psychology in teaching and student support;
-Clinical, where they gained hands-on experience in psychological services and mental health care; and
-Industrial/Organizational, where they explored workplace behavior and organizational dynamics.

From overcoming challenges to discovering their strengths, the seniors reflected on how these experiences shaped their personal and professional growth and prepared them for their future careers.

The Cognitive Fair, held on October 6, 2025, transformed the Lingap Center into an interactive hub of learning, led by 2nd Year Psychology students from the Cognitive Psychology class, led by their Instructor, Ms. Kezeah T. Agdeppa, RPm, CHRA.

The event featured hands-on activities and games that tested memory, attention, perception, and problem-solving skills. NLAC students actively participated, enjoying the challenges and earning prizes while exploring how cognitive processes work in everyday life.

The said event aimed to make classroom concepts come alive through practical, engaging experiences. Faculty members commended the students for their creativity, preparation, and ability to present complex ideas in an accessible way.

The Cognitive Fair concluded successfully, leaving participants with both fun memories and a deeper understanding of cognitive psychology.

The NLAC Lapiang Sikolohiyang Pilipino (LSP) had a blessed Church Visitation at Sagunto SDA Church last delightful Sabbath, Saturday, November 29, 2025.

​We offer deep thanksgiving for the opportunity to have successfully handled the Adventist Youth (AY) program during the service.

​A special note of appreciation to our theology friends and other department friends for joining us and lending their dedicated support!

​As we reflect on this service, let us remember the instruction from 📖1 Corinthians 10:31

It is never easy being the energy of the lobby, entertaining our questions, and fulfilling the responsibilities of guidance counselor, instructor, and adviser. The one we needed was always there to help us be better than ever.
