To our fellow students,
We, the Student Council, sincerely apologize to the entire student body for the neglect and mismanagement of funds collected from the previous jersey transactions. We acknowledge that the delay, lack of clarity, and unresolved concerns surrounding these collections have caused disappointment, frustration, and a loss of trust, and for this, we are truly sorry.
As student leaders entrusted with your contributions, we recognize that we failed to uphold the level of responsibility and transparency you deserved. We take full accountability for these shortcomings and acknowledge that this situation should have been handled with greater care and urgency.
To assure everyone of our accountability, we would like to inform you that a formal acknowledgement letter has been signed by the Student Council members and passed to the office of the Vice President of Student Services. This document serves as a clear and binding recognition of responsibility for the funds in question and our commitment to resolve the matter properly.
Please know that steps are actively being taken to address the issue responsibly. More importantly, we are committed to learning from this experience and to improving our systems through greater transparency, clearer communication, and stronger accountability moving forward.
We humbly ask for your understanding and patience as we work toward resolving this concern. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to acknowledge our mistake and to regain your trust.
